[WORLD CUP] Combining night time matches and early morning wake-ups.

What's up mathafakaaaas

How many of you who have to wake up for a job early in the morning or for some other reason are gonna watch most of the matches even if they end like at 4 am?

In my country the earliest game starts 11pm and latest 4am. My work starts at 5:30 am but I don't care.

FIFA World Cup is only once in every fourth year, you can't miss any matches because of work! Right?!

Work and responsibilities should come ahead of that. And besides, you have internet, you can always watch it later off of somewhere.

Well you must be fun at parties.

I didn't mean I won't go to work. It's just that I won't get much sleep before it, as I plan to watch most of the games, as many of the guys in our workplace are planning to do.

I actually am, I just party when I have days off work. Some things in life are more important than football.
You obviously don't even watch football or even like it? So why did you even bother to waste your precious time to comment on this thread. The word passion in this case (or generally) must be an unfamiliar term to you.

Well, for me the earliest match starts around 5:00pm which by then I would've closed form work. The latest is around 2:00am though.

Since I missed most of the matches during the previous tournament(due to schooling), I hope that I can at least watch most of the matches if not all of them.

True, but I can stream the matches online though.

That can't be right. 9 hours between the earliest and latest? I just double checked the airing times in my country and the timeframe is 6 hours between earliest and latest. So if your country is broadcasting them live then the timeframe is same to you.

And what gives you that impression? I've played football for 13 years, that's in the past now. Passion heh, I have passion for a lot of things, you seem small minded but that's okay. I randomly came across this thread while I had downtime at work and gave my two cents about the subject. I have the freedom to do so. You don't like my view on football and that's fine. But accusing me for lack of understanding for word passion is really, well, silly to say the least. Nonetheless, have a nice day.

I didn't say I didn't like it. I just noticed a belittling tone in your first and second posts. There must be things that you are passionate about which make you break your routines for those things. And so you said, you have passion for alot of things. Work aint so serious 'cause it's just that, work. You can have a moment here or there, where you just do what feels good and not give to shit's about this sheep cycle we call life.

The moments should matter. But if you are so serious person that you don't get what I'm saying then we just see things differently and it's all good

That's just for days with four matches being played (i.e on Saturday and at the last round of the group stages), days with three matches will have the earliest match around 5:00pm as usual and the latest match at around 11:00pm.

Sorry I wasn't clear on that part.

Oh... you see work as a responsibility... what an adorable guy you are

Trust me, if you were Spanish (as well as I am) you wouldn't see work as a responsibility; it would be more like: mmm... today plays the Spanish national team... I think I'll be "sick" thus I won't be able to go work... :snick:

Also, watching the matches after they have already been played is not nearly as exciting as watching them live.
