[Suiton] Senpai to Senpai

"Okay, now for the next one, it's practically an "escape-this-technique-because-I-am-screwed" kind of technique. Through manipulating your Water based chakra, you will alter the form of your very body, to mimic the form of water itself. This means you will literally turn into liquid form in order to dodge certain techniques, or even hide in a way. Though you can't perform any techniques when you are in this state, so be sure to only use it when you are really in a jiffy. Use it to dodge this sudden kunai!!"

Dean throws a kunai at Souji with great speed, and accuracy.

The kunai whizzed toward Souji. He didn't panic, though. He would often do this to his own students to try and test their reflexes. They'd dodge or defend it most of the time, but there had been a few injuries occasionally. But not wasting a single moment, Souji kneaded his water chakra throughout his whole body. He envisioned the free-flowing and liquid nature of the water element. A tingling sensation ran from his feet upward through his entire body, sending a chill down his spine. It almost felt like he was peeing, but it wasn't really that. Soon enough, his body began liquefying at a fast rate, turning him into a puddle of water. As the kunai whizzed past where his head would have been, Souji had, in the nick of time, turned into a puddle of water.

After it was over, Souji re-emerged, as if he was "stepping out" of the water.

"This is one cool technique. I could literally become water, which is a great evasion and even defensive technique. Using this with clones is also a plus; I could have my clone cover me while I'm vulnerable, or even have the clone do it and create a trap; my enemy may not suspect that the water source is actually a clone!"

"As for disadvantages, I can't perform jutsu while I'm in this aquatic form, and I'm therefore incredibly vulnerable..."

"Dean, how long does this effect last?"

"After that, I want you to form the Dragon → Tiger hand seals, and manipulate your Water based chakra, to summon forth a great mass of water. This water stays stationary until used offensively against your opponent. When you attack, use shape manipulation to form the water into a dragon with a gaping mouth. Try it against my clone over there!"

Dean creates a clone, that waits for Souji.

After senpai answered his question, Souji performed the Dragon and Tiger hand seals, weaving them together and molding his water chakra. From a nearby water source, a great mass of water rose upward like a wave, staying stationary, held in place by Souji's chakra. Then, suddenly, without warning, Souji applied shape manipulation to the water, turning it into a wave that was shaped like a Dragon's head, and allowed it to crash onto Dean's clone.

"The delayed release of the wave could throw off an opponent's timing, and it's a great distraction."

"However, I suppose maintaining the jutsu requires focus so you really can't perform other techniques during this time."

Souji looked over at his teapot. It was still boiling.

Dean looks over to Souji, he was quite natural at this. He would one day become a good user of the Water element, or so Dean hoped. Their training progressed, slowly but surely. The day had almost taken its toll, and the sun hid behind the trees in the distance. Its yellowish orange color radiated across the training field. Dean smiled as he continued, they would perhaps have to work through the night to complete this.

"Well Souji, it is basically controlled by the user, and is maintained with chakra, like a stream based technique would be well, maintained. So this jutsu works on the same principle. That's why you can't do other jutsu's while in this form. Okay, here are the jutsu you just learned."

"Now, the next two are very basic. First, form the Tiger hand seal, and slam your foot onto the ground before you. As you do so, basically, manipulate your Water based chakra in order to cause water to rise up and travel towards your opponent in the form of a slicing jet. Quite easy to perform, and doesn't require much effort to do. Though, due to its speed, it can be performed quickly. Use it against my clone, who said... you are a filthy casual!!"

"After that, manipulate your Water based chakra in your mouth. After doing so, condense it and release it from your mouth in the form of a powerful wave of water. Quite compressed, and can carve the earth if used on the same area multiple times. Use it against my clone, and blast him into pieces with highly compressed blast."

Upon hearing the words of Dean's clone, Souji's ear twitched in response. He turned to the clone, his eyes widened. His usual cool and calm disposition had been traded for a different kind of persona. He tilted his head, looking a little scary.

"You bastard... no one calls me a filthy casual..." he said, with mock anger.

Performing the Tiger Hand Seal and kneading water chakra in his foot, Souji then proceeded to lift his left leg and slammed it down on the ground between himself and Dean's clone. Apply his shape manipulation, he allowed water to rise up from the ground and form into a jet stream of water, which sliced through the ground, hurtling towards Dean's clone at high speeds.

The resulting impact wasn't pretty to look at.

After he completed the technique, Souji returned to normal, talking as if nothing happened xD

"The cutting jet is strong enough to bisect weak constructs or even people. It's also pretty fast to execute and perform. However, for disadvantages, I guess performing the Tiger hand seal and stomping your foot on the ground would allow your enemy to anticipate the attack and counter accordingly."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Souji.

As the second clone runs toward Souji, the latter begins manipulating and kneading water chakra in his mouth. Condensing it to a tightly packed sphere, he then opens his mouth, release water from the sphere out, forming a powerful wave of water. This blast of water hits Dean's second clone with both blunt force and cutting power, pushing him back and causing deep lacerations through his body.

"Ohhhh. No handseals, pushes the enemy back and cuts them up, and it can even cut up Earth! This takes care of Water's natural weakness to Earth, but I assume it can only cut up to Earth techniques of the same rank, yes? Or does it depend on the size of the Earth technique?"

Dean laughed as he saw Souji's response. He tried to hide it, by putting his hand in front of his mouth in a comedic fashion. He knew that it would have this effect. Dean's composure returned to his usual laid back one, he looked around. So quiet. Just the sound of water, and the occasional crash when Souji does a technique. Water was after all the longest training. He listens to Souji attentively.

"Well, not exactly. As it states, when this technique is used repeatedly on a single part of Earth, it could carve through, it maintains the strengths and weaknesses of the elements. Here are the jutsu you just learned."

"Okay, for the next two. First, I want you to form the Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger hand seals, then greatly manipulate your Water based chakra, changing mere molecules in the air before you, into several orbs of water, that seemingly rise from the ground. The water that join to form a body of water, can be used to attack, defend or act as for supplementary uses like for aquatic summons to breathe in water. You are literally creating a water source. "Okay, for the next one, very basic, don't require much explanation. First, you need to be underwater."

Dean focuses his Earth based chakra beneath Souji and launches him into the lake.

"Now that you are in there, manipulate your water based chakra, and use it to propel yourself. This also masks your presence as you go underwater, this allows you not be sensed when in a large body of water like a lake. Try it out, or else my clone will find you!"

Weaving the hand seals Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger, Souji then proceeds to manipulate his chakra to take on the form of Suiton, and dispersing it to the air around him, converting the dry air into something akin to water vapor molecules. These molecules compress and form orbs of water, a quantifiable number, around him. Allowing the orbs to pool together, Souji then directs it above Dean's clone, allowing it to then drop on him, splashing him with a large amount of water and creating a makeshift water source.

"Creating a water source out of this technique is pretty cool. Handseal abundance doesn't help, though. What are your insights to this technique, senpai?"

"Okay, for the next one, very basic, don't require much explanation. First, you need to be underwater."

Dean focuses his Earth based chakra beneath Souji and launches him into the lake.

"Now that you are in there, manipulate your water based chakra, and use it to propel yourself. This also masks your presence as you go underwater, this allows you not be sensed when in a large body of water like a lake. Try it out, or else my clone will find you!"

Dean creates a clone that looks for Souji.

"... underwater? What do you mean se- -paiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

Souji's last statement came as an echo as he was launched into the lake by the simple Earth technique. Now underwater, Souji pouted a little. That was kind of sudden. But nevertheless, he began to do the usual, kneading Suiton chakra, allowing himself to propel like a jet through the water, with the speed of a fish.

I feel like a man of water... Aquaman? He had a weird sense of deja vu as he continued swimming through the water, out of the clone's detection range.

Souji looks over at Dean's clone who was dangerously close to invading Souji's space. He then flashes a smile that any girl would DIE FOR.

"What's cookin', good lookin'?" He said, jokingly.

Channeling and manipulating Suiton chakra in his left arm, Souji holds his open palm to his left, hovering just at Dean's clone's chest. Suddenly, without warning, a powerful jet of water blasts out of his hand and pushes Dean's clone back, easily defeating him.

"Sorry senpai, I don't swing that way... but anyway, this jutsu is good for close range surprises in a pinch. A pity it doesn't at least extend a little further."

"One question here, can I use this jet of water to push myself in different directions by aiming the water towards the ground, for example?"

"Then after that, first, I want you to form the Boar → Dog → Horse → Tiger handseals, and then focus your water based chakra to manipulate a large amount of water to form a huge spiraling stream of water to blast towards the opponent and basically slam into him with blunt force. Requires a water source, so use it while standing on the lake."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Souji.

Forming the Boar → Dog → Horse → Tiger hand seals near the lake, Souji kneaded his water chakra and formed a spiraling stream that blasted Dean's clone as he was charging towards him. The clone was pushed back a good distance and slammed against a tree, poofing away as a result.

"Requires a water source.... that's a bad thing. Uhhh... can't really think of anything else right now."

Souji took a seat on a nearby tree stump, looking tired for some reason.

Move the cloud towards the opponent and disperse it, so it releases a flammable oil onto the opponent. Since it's flammable, you..should..blast the opponent...with.. a flame ._. Try it on my clone!"

Placing his hand by the nearby lake, Souji channels and manipulates his Suiton chakra to cause the water to rotate clockwise, causing a whirlpool to form at Dean's clone's feet. Then, like something being flushed down a toilet, the clone is sucked into the lake, trapping him underneath.

"This is pretty situational... one question... how big is the whirlpool? Can it suck things like summons into it?

"Next, we have quite a useful jutsu. I want you to form the Ram → Snake → Tiger handseals, and manipulate your water based chakra to form a somewhat, black flammable mist that forms into a cloud. Move the cloud towards the opponent and disperse it, so it releases a flammable oil onto the opponent. Since it's flammable, you..should..blast the opponent...with.. a flame ._. Try it on my clone!"

Dean creates a clone who waits for Souji's attack.

Weaving the Ram → Snake → Tiger hand seals and kneading his Suiton chakra, Souji forms a small, concentrated black bubble made of water. Sending this bubble towards Dean's clone, it pops, releasing a black mist that surrounds him. Then, quickly molding fire chakra in his mouth, Souji spews a small fireball at the mist, causing it to ignite, burning the poor clone with a mix of flammable oil and flames.

Toasty.

"Sometimes... I kinda feel sorry for my own clones, being a bunch of fodder for students. Heh. But anyway, Flammable water... this is a cool technique. Pretty sure that the bubble can easily be pushed away or destroyed if seen, though."

By using shape manipulation, you will shape four pointed projectiles from this puddle and shoot them at your opponent. A nice sneaky attack. Up to mid range from you it can be done. Try it out against my clone. First make a water clone though."

"After that, I want you to punch and kick my clone a few times, and then lift him into the air. After that, concentrate your water based chakra to your palm of your dominant hand and swing it in an arc to release a crescent shaped blade of water that strikes the opponent whilst he is in the air. Try it against my clone."

Listening to his senpai's words, Souji first creates a water clone.

As Dean's clone dashes toward the original Souji, the Water clone in an arc towards Dean's right, making a wide quarter circle run. The clone disperses into a water puddle, and when Dean's clone is halfway to hitting the original Souji, the latter manipulates the water chakra in the puddle to form four pointed projectiles which launch outward and hit Dean's clone from the side, easily defeating him from an attack to the side.

"Alright. This jutsu is used with a clone, which is a good and bad thing. It can open up a lot of strategic options for battle since you've got an extra body to work with. However, this technique's dependence on the need for a water clone can slow down combinations and take up a lot of one's allotted moves."

"After that, I want you to punch and kick my clone a few times, and then lift him into the air. After that, concentrate your water based chakra to your palm of your dominant hand and swing it in an arc to release a crescent shaped blade of water that strikes the opponent whilst he is in the air. Try it against my clone."

Dean creates another clone that's about to get a beating.

"Ohhhh, I like Taijutsu." :snick:

Running up to Dean's clone, Souji begins by drawing his right arm back and punching Dean's clone in the gut. This keels him over. With his right foot forward and his left foot back, Souji then follows up by brining his left leg forward and right arm back (in opposite directions to maintain balance), in a kneeing motion that slams into Dean's clone's face from his right side. This brings his face up, looking toward the sky. Using the right arm he pulled back, he grabs Dean's collar and brings him close to his face, then finishing him off with a left uppercut that brings the poor sap into the air.

As the clone is up in the air, Souji concentrated his water chakra in his left hand and swung it upward, releasing a crescent shaped blade of water that almost bisected Dean's clone, in one continuous motion.

Rubbing his hands as the clone disappeared, Souji looked to his senpai.

"Senpai, was my Taijutsu alright? Any pointers you may have?"

Performing the Boar, Dog, and Ram hand seals, Souji channels his Suiton chakra through the ground in front of him, forming water veins that create a small source of fresh spring water. Then, with a forceful amount of shape and nature manipulation, this then turns into a wave-like current, resulting in a waterfall-type formation that crashed on his back. It was kind of therapeutic... even chiropractic as it massaged his back. What was cool here was that it also masked his presence from the confused clone.

"It doesn't seem like this has many offensive uses, but I do like the idea of concealing oneself!" he said loudly over the sound of crashing water.

"Okay, for the next one. An easy one. First, I want you to manipulate your Water based chakra, and use it to make water rise up from beneath your opponent up into the air. This leaves them open for attack, so you can attack with any attack that works best then, Try it against my clone."

Dean creates a clone, who stands there, reading a Playboy magazine.

Channeling water chakra through the ground and allowing it to pool underneath Dean's clone, Souji created a quick, powerful water pillar that thrust up, hitting Dean's clone in his crotch area (which was unusually bulging, for some reason >_>), causing him to drop the Playboy magazine on the floor right beside Souji.

Souji followed up by molding Raiton chakra in his mouth and spitting a spear of lightning which impaled Dean's clone, defeating him.

"A good supplementary jutsu that can leave your opponent very vulnerable..."

Souji's voice trailed off as he noticed the Playboy Magazine. Picking it up, he began flipping through... not realizing he began to gawk and stare at the "assets" within :nosebleed:

Dean then clears his throat, his inner pervert has been revealed. HE then looks at Souji with his usual stern demeanor.

"That's alright Souji. Here you go."

"Now, form the Ram handseal, and manipulate your Water based chakra around your dominant hand. This generates water to form around your arm, and when you punch forwards, it would release the water in the form of a projectile or a bullet. This bullet is capable of pushing an opponent back and dealing some blunt damage. Try it out against my clone."

Dean creates a clone that dashes towards Souji.

"Now, for the next two. First, manipulate your Water based chakra whilst holding a sword, and cause it to create water beneath yourself that moves forward towards the opponent. As you get to the opponent, slash them multiple times with the sword on the chest to destroy them. Use it against my clone."

Dean creates a clone, that awaits Souji's attack.

Forming the Ram handseal, Souji allows Suiton chakra to build up in his right hand, forming something like a water glove around his arm. Pulling his arm back and thrusting it forward, the release the water from his hand, which flies at high speeds towards Dean's clone like a projectile. It hits the clone squarely on the chest, with enough force to push him back and defeat him.

"Pretty fast, simple, and efficient. No water source needed. Not much else to say here. Heh."

"Now, for the next two. First, manipulate your Water based chakra whilst holding a sword, and cause it to create water beneath yourself that moves forward towards the opponent. As you get to the opponent, slash them multiple times with the sword on the chest to destroy them. Use it against my clone."

Dean creates a clone, that awaits Souji's attack.

Unsheathing his sword from his hip, Souji holds it with both hands; a simple katana. Channeling his Suiton chakra through the sword, Souji created water at his feet; a small puddle that then moved forward towards his opponent. He rode it like a wave of water, and when he reached Dean's clone, Souji performed a few simple slashes at his chest from all directions, swiping back and forth, utterly destroying him.

"I like it. Doesn't seem too complicated, although the formation of the water and riding it towards an opponent seems kind of superfluous; it gives them ample time to counter with a simple Earth wall, for example."

Dean creates a clone that runs towards Souji.

Putting his left hand in front of his mouth, Souji manipulates his Suiton chakra and removes his hand, applying shape manipulation simultaneously to make it seem like he's pulling a stream of water out of his mouth, forming a whip in his hand. He then proceeds to use this whip to lash forwards, causing a blast of water to push back Dean's running clone. This blast comes from the impact on the tip of the whip, doing some good damage and the subsequent 'poof'.

"I can use this to keep opponents who are trying to get into close range towards me away, a nice usage. However, the whip has to be controlled and maintained, so it's hard for me to use other techniques while this is active."

"The last C rank, you made it through the dreaded C rank ;_;. This jutsu, you will need to manipulate your Water based chakra, and start condensing it, right above where you are. Then by manipulating it, you can generate multiple projectiles of water that can be shot towards an opponent with great force and power. By swinging your hand, you can also release a barrage of small water projectiles. Try it against my clone."

Forming the Boar, Dog, and Ram handseals, Souji channels his Suiton chakra through his left hand, allowing his shape manipulation to then cause a rotation of the forming water in a clockwise direction, weaving a small vortex of water that he then thrusts forward at Dean's shadow clone, pushing the latter back with great force.

"It's almost like a 'water rasengan'. The rotational force adds to the damage and pushback, but a smarter opponent will be able to see the formation of the vortex and protect themselves."

"Pretty sure you can have a fancy dinner with a smoking hot kunoichi by the time I'm done with the handseals..." Souji says, laughing.

Beginning to weave the UNGODLY amount of handseals, Souji has some trouble remembering the exact sequence of handseals, and the actual formation of handseals is tedious in itself. Standing on top of the water while Dean's clone eats the pie, there's simply an awkward silence. After what seems to be forever, Souji finishes the handseals and sees that Dean's clone had finished the pie and was taking a nap. Manipulating his suiton chakra and channeling it through the ground, he applies shape manipulation to form a water dragon that smacks Dean's clone with a splash attack, defeating the poor dude while he's asleep.

"Yeahhhh.... a jutsu like this doesn't really have any practical use, to be honest. It really doesn't. Plenty of other techniques can have the same effects, or even better. I'd need Water mastery to be able to even use this effectively."

"I guess I could bore the enemy to death with the handseals..."
