Yamato A "Senju"

This theory is more than just a possibilty it would explain Yamato surviving when 59 others didn't. It's not like the cursre mark as some might think, that one in a million chance crap doesn't cut it for me. We have yet to see any evidence to the contrary and Yamato not only posseses both water and earth natures but he combines the two just like the first Hokage who is a senju but there are still some sceptics out there I aint mad at em.Anything's possible in Narutoverse
tbh i'm pretty sure yamato was basically meant to be a clone more or less :/There has been several experiments done by the evil Orochimaru and Yamato/Tenzo was the only one to survive. I believe that since the 1st was the only one to use the Wood style it could be considered a Kekkei Genkai.(BLOOD LINE TRAIT)
See where i'm headed? Tenzo/Yamato has got to be a Senju. Not to much has been said about the wherabouts of the Senju except for Tsunade and Nawaki. But maybe the 1st Hokage's DNA was able to fuse with Tenzo/Yamato because they share the same Senju blood, thus allowing me to make the argument that Yamato/Tenzo didn't die because he is of Senju blood.
The DNA had no adverse affects because Tenzo/Yamato is a descendant of the Senju clan Blood line, hence the Kekkei Genkai he wields with the wood style. The DNA only served as an activator for an already present but dormant abilities!!!!!!

also curse mark was supposed to kill 9/10 people but that doesn't make sasuke related to juugo (spelling)

Mute point, several people were compatible with the curse mark but Yamato was the sole survivor of the 1st Hokage's DNA so there is know real comparison. Yamato is not a clone he was already a live and well infant, Orochimaru expriemented on him like the others.
Starting to think so yet!!!!!

Since Yamato is my favorite char on the show I would love to see more about him and his past. Since everyone else gets an episode or two of flashbacks why not him? Could show him after the experiment while he was learning his new ability and maybe one where he was progressing into the higher ranks, maybe even into ANBU career.
I dont think he is a Senju... just because of the fact that he pretty much admits that his powers hold no candle compared to the Senju clan of old. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that he isn't Senju, but I just take that as a reason meaning he isn't.

yeah that woulde be dope. I think their will have to be some storyline unvailed at some point he is quickly becoming one of the most likeable ninja in the series and makes for an interesting in the very least aginst anyone he faces. You remember how he handles that wood user by swallowing his ass up into that tree, dude is hella sick. He's got to be a senju with all that gangsta madness he be pulling off.
He has a history... They don't just stamp you as "Anbu" when you're first born.. They select you when you prove useful.
As for if he was a Senju or not, considering Hashirama was the only one to figure out how to do the wood release; it could be THE ONLY REASON is because he was. However if that were true then that means ANY Senju could TECHNICALLY learn wood release (which hasn't been proven so far) so this may mean that;
a) Hashirama was very greedy and wanted to be the only one to have Wood Release to keep his power as the leader of the Senju Clan/Hokage
or
b) It's a very complected Style and takes a lot of skill/chakra to create such a thing. [Tenzo became a Chunin at the age of 6 so this could mean that he's a VERY advanced Shinobi, and could hone and develop the style himself.]
Essentually, though Yamato's last name isn't specified so he COULD be a Senju, though we've seen more Senju characters in the series then any other clan.. So that could just mean that Senju is a large clan.

They were injected with the First Hokage's DNA in the hopes that they could replicate the First's ability to use Wood Release techniques, as well as an unquantified ability to control tailed beasts. Yamato, however, was the lone survivor, and found himself endowed with the First's abilities. - * His hobby is reading books about architecture.
- * Tenzō's registration number is 010992.
- * Tenzō has completed 996 official missions in total: 80 D-rank, 176 C-rank, 400 B-rank, 305 A-rank, 35 S-rank.
- * Tenzō graduated the academy at age 6 and became a chunin at age 6 as well.
