Ok, let's start by making a pillar of earth.
You'll need the power stance for most of the earth jutsu. Focus your earth chakra at any spot in the ground, make the chakra go pretty deeply into the ground, then thrust both of your arms as well as the chakra upwards, making a staff rise up from the ground.
*the earth rises up slightly*
You have to use your chakra that's underground to dislodge the earth, and then as it rises, you have to disconnect that chakra stream from the ground so that your staff isn't just a pole sticking from the ground.
I focus my chakra flow on my palms and touch ground with 'em. I connect earth's chakra flow with mines to raise staff of earth from ground. I raise my hand and ground raises with it but this time I disconnect chakra flow and the staff raises from earth without being some weird sticking pole and I throw it to horizon.

You got the pillar thing well, so now lets move on to tools of earth, such as a sword.
Same concept, raise the earth up, and then manipulate it to form a sword. One thing though, it shouldnt crumble when you grab it (cuz you put too little chakra in it), and if you made it too heavy for you to lift, then you put too much chakra into it. Try it out.

I focus my chakra on my hands and release it on ground fusing these two chakras that are mines and chakra inside earth. After I've Fused 'em I drag my chakra upwards making earth raise in form of sword. After It has rose I cut the chakra flow making the earth pop in hand of mines in form of sword.

*throws my earth sword horizontally at you to give it momentum, and as it is about to hit you, I appear behind my sword and grab its hilt to smack your earth sword out of your hand and it crumbles* See that trick...*puts sword to your neck* That's a connect toss...throwing the sword and then grabbing it at the precise moment of attack gives you more power in attack than just swinging the sword. And it throws the opponent off guard.
That's what you could learn from me in swordsmanship, and you didn't have that great of a grip on your sword either, and it had too little chakra in it since it crumbled when i hit it with my earth sword. *takes earth sword away from your neck and moves back to original position* Again.

Hai, senpai. I'm gonna take the sword lessons as I get my Oro bio approved which will may happen really soon cuz hells just said that. Anywayz let us continue. I gather my chakra again using chakra circulating system to make it go my hand. After it I touch ground with my palm infusing it together with earth's natural chakra and draw out earth in form of another sword and disconnect our chakra. This one's harder than last time.
I throw my sword in air and use:

Description: After user has done series of handseals he/she releases raiton chakra in air In form of glowing sparks that confuse opponent. When opponent is confused on these sparks user can Either Attack him or close sparks as cage around opponent that shock him

To make wall of seizures around you that will temporary blind you. After it I catch my sword jump over you and knock the sword of yours away with handle of my blade. After it I draw my sword and point your neck with it. Any better?

I see that the raiton jutsu is just a distraction, and i then sense you coming near me using my sharingan's ability to track chakra, heat, and movement. I then spin my elbow, spinning my earth sword, but it stops once it clashes with your earth sword.
Perfect^^.
Now, for the final effect of Doton no jutsu, to make earth shields.
Pull up a slab of earth from the ground and then use your chakra to manipulate it into a shield form, making it hard enough to block most weapon attacks.
