[Discussion] Royal ant guards(Pouf,youpi,pitou)

So first I need to ask any HxH fans a question. The ants take one form from the food the queen ate correct? Pitou = cat Pouf = butterfly. So when exactly did the queen eat Satan to create youpi? Seriously man he looks like the typical description of Satan, hoofed feet, red skin, evil.

Anyway to my original point in the thread, many people seem to think Pitou is the strongest guard. I disagree. The ants had always been born stronger than the previous generation and Pitou was the first guard why would this process change at this point? It wouldn't. Youpi should be seen as the strongest guard and not just because he came last but look and compare their skills. Youpi can morph his body into any shape he desires and has crazy powerful attacks, Pitou has two healing abilities and an ability to use others to fight for her/him.

People give Pitou so much credit because she killed Kite, well I'll be the one to say it, Kite didn't have much going in the manga besides hype. His hype of being trained by Ging makes people automatically assume he's one of the strongest characters(even stronger than most if not all the Phantom Troupe...I don't buy that though). Don't get me wrong I liked Kite and his power was cool I'd like to see more from him

Sidenote: Gon never could have beaten Meruem. I know most will rage and disagree but think about it. Gon made the sacrifice he did to kill Pitou for what he/she did to Kite. Meruem never knew Kite. Gon wouldn't hold the same level of animosity towards Meruem that he did to Pitou.

Same here. A lot of people seem to think Pitou = #1 though.

I disagree with you about the Kite point.
Kite deserves the hype he gets,he one shotted an entire chimera ant division when even Gon and Killua struggled for some part to deal with individuals from the same division and he could at least react to Pitou's blitz and intercept him from reaching Gon.
He can extend his EN as far as 45 meters when even the likes of Nobunaga cant extend it more than 15 meters,talks a lot about his nen mastery.
And he is definetely one of the most versatile combat hunters with nine different weapons in his arsenal,its a shame we didnt get to see his full potential.
Also id do believe he ranks up there with Feitan and Chrolo.

I'm not buying it. Chrollo and Feitan would destroy Kite from everything we've seen. As Kite hiself said his weapon is a blessing and a curse, I enjoy it but it could give him a disadvantage in a fight and against a spider that's all it would take. There's a lot of debate around it but I think Kite and Hisoka would be a realistic matchup. As for the ant part, Gon and Killua are clearly below Kite so him being able to kill a squad of them makes perfect sense, also Gon and Killua were beating them 1v1 Kite just didn't wanna waste time.

I'll give you then EN bit, but do we know whether nen type plays a role in that and what type of nen user is Kite or Nobunaga? Not saying Kite wasn't a badass, I just think people take Ging being his teacher for more than it should be, on a forum where every one complains about using hype to judge it seems to happen a lot for Kite. The only strength Kite really got to show before being killed was taking out that ant squad.

There was a Pitou vs. Hisoka thread awhile back and almost everyone who said Pitou would win said so because Pit was the strongest guard and Gon defeated him/her therefore he/she must be able to beat Hisoka.

I'm not interested in opinions on that anymore but yeah in that thread a lot of people said Pitou was the top guard. I honestly think when Hisoka returns people will go back and re-evaluate their stance on Pitou v Hisoka.

IMO i think Youpi>Pitou>Pouf in terms of strength. But intelligence wise prolly the other way around.

Kite lost that badly to Pitou because he was handicapped.

Gon and Killua were distractions that caused him to lose his arm. How is he supposed to fight properly with 1 arm, while trying to stop Pitou from pursuing Gon and Killua

But I like Pouf the most. ^^
