Yamanaka ClanLooks: Rai has been noted as an extremely handsome and elegant individual by Shinobis and normal humans alike. He has scarlet-red eyes and jet black hair. He is usually seen wearing a suit, however, the suits he is seen on vary in colors.. Rai has a stoic and regal demeanor, and he inspires awe and respect from friends and foes. This relates to his enormous reserve of chakra, which is both a blessing and a burden for Rai. The duty of bearing the responsibility of such power is what causes him to act reclusive and seemingly apathetic. Also, even when he is truly distressed, Rai has the same dutiful and unfazed countenance.
Personality:Rai is noted with his adore to Ramen. Although he seems cold and apathetic on the outside, Rai has shown compassion towards human beings. Although it is not known whether this is due to actual compassion or out of pride. He always sympathize with humans that they have to bear what shinobis do, and cannot even protest against that.

背景情報 | Background Information
History:
Rai was born in The Village Hidden in Leaves in the Yamanaka clan. He was a really talented and gifted Ninja, yet really quiet and well-behaving. His family was a close friend to Noble families, specially the Hyūga. Due to this friendship, Rai was pretty much raised among the Hyūga clan, and he achieved their Noble attitude, he was even more Noble-behaving than most of the other children in the clan of his age, hence why his family's friends were really proud of him, even though he wasn't their child. He had a really peaceful life up until then.
It is a well-known event that most of Konohagakure shinobis know if not all. In which a masked man who was revealed to be Obito of the Uchiha clan attacked Konohagakure along side with Kurama, the Jinchuuriki of the Nine Tails. He was given the ability to summon it by Madara of the Uchiha clan. This disaster caused lots of pain and damage to the village of Konoha and it's people. This also caused the death of Rai's parents. Fortunately, Rai was an only child, therefore, there would be nothing else to bare it's loss after his parents' death. It was an honorable death, though. They died protecting their village and their comrades while trying to attack Kurama. Much like his parents, their friends died as well, including the ones from the Hyūga clan, so Rai had no place to go to during this disaster, therefore he stayed at home. Luckily, a decent-aged man approached him in his house, naturally he would be in fear as most children of his age would be, as he was just nine years old, however, he wasn't, this was a part of his personality as well. He never feared anything but the loss of his comrades and friends, however, he wasn't really close to his family as he spent most of his time in either missions or having fun with his friends of the Hyūga clan, as he was always amazed by their Noble attitude and tried his best to achieve such attitude. It turned out that this man was his family's friend from Amegakure who they got to know in one of their missions, and as there were an alliance between Konohagakure and Amegakure, it was ordinary to see Amegakure shinobis in Konohagakure and vise versa. Rai's family asked this man to look after Rai if anything would happened to them and take him to Amegakure if he sees the situation in Konoagakure critical. Which he did when he lost hope of Konohagakure being able to overpower the Masked Man and Kurama. Rai, even though, he really liked Konoha and it's member, he had to go with him as he wasn't even sure that there would be a future for Konohagkure, and after all he was a mere child.
