No that's not true, theirs a difference between "Asspull" and writing the villains well

Unless its a 1 on 1 character versus in entire story, then its because there are other partners that can help take down the bad guy. Mainly its like giving other people something to do. In FF Sephiroth can beat everyone 1 on 1, but Cloud has a team to support him.
Naruto isn't really like that though, because you have people with brains & strategies spawn from them that include other people's help. If Shikamaru was filled in on Sasuke/Naruto's situation vs Rikudou Madara, he could've come up with a plan to defeat him using them and their jutsu.

DBZ never uses TNJ to beat opponents. Saiyans become stronger when they survive near death experience. Also saiyans can get temporarily stronger from rage boost, which helps them to fight with stronger opponents for a while. DBZ villains don't have good backstory but they fight much better than Naruto villains and their deaths aren't humiliating

Well there are few that the main villains at least die without an asspull,
well if you count the main character of death note as a villain, well he is

But it didn't work though, now kishi is pushing the edo kages to come to fight KAGUYA whom more powerful than madara, not the madara that owned them though, it was only being the juubi jin.. if i recall or before that.. i need to re-read few chapters of the war.

The way kishi has been writing the fights/Villans lately has been very "Poor", I miss the days when the fights were clever and nicely done, like Naruto vs Pein and Sasuke vs itachi

Yeah that's true.For example in FT Erza fought several opponents in which she was outclassed and even suffered serious injuries,yet through the power of nakama she often defeats them in one hit.

Very good,the plot is basically one big game of chess between Light and the ones who oppose him.L is one of the best characters in the series and is Light/Kira's equal in both intellect but scheming as well.If you like manga/anime with calculating and manipulative characters then Death Note is just for you.

that's what an anime should be... a evil main character that does what kira did...that's what i want in an anime, at the end he fails but at least he was going ham and didn't die because of an asspull, well.. something along those lines

Yes villains get beaten but do it in a way that makes sense and no asspulls regardless him/her defeat.
