Seeing how they took time to show Madara touch the ground, his demeanor changed instantly towards a more hostile approach.

He could of been suspicious.

The limbo clones are invisible. Even if he switched, it would have been an invisible clone in Madara's place, which was obviously not the case, so nope it was the original. Besides, he said he was "paralysed" when Black Zetsu implanted the virus. From that point in time, a switch isn't possible

Their reactions along with Naruto's "He moved?" makes it clear that he didn't switch until that moment, remember that Naruto can't SEE the shadow Madara, so it was the real him that got sandwiched by Naruto and Sasuke.

There is no other way for it to be a clone yet everyone still sees him. There is no "pre-switching", at least to our knowledge.

He cannot switch places with it. He can just use Limbo as offense and defense. Original madara will still continue to exist in real world when the limbo is active. So thats not limbo clone. Besides only senjutsu can hurt limbo madara.

Besides, how is it naruto and sasuke vs Kaguya and madara if madara survived against BZ? makes no sense lol.

Madara has already switched places with his limbo clone before,so yes its very possible
