- Um, are you suggesting she should have attacked Madara with Katsuyu instead of healing the alliance? Tsunade is a ****ing medic, she had to heal the army and not to confront Madara. In a 1vs1 scenario the situation is completely different. She ( and Sakura ) can use their full might to deal with a foe, they won't hold back their trump card

I'm talking about tsunade's battle with madara when she was with the 5 kage.

Tsunade never once tried to summon her for offense, Even when the kages were desperate, She only summoned katsuyu to heal Herself and the other 4 kages.
Even though her defensive abilities would of been quite useful.

Tsunade held back her "Trump" card as you put it, Until she needed to be healed or to do healing. Hell sakura didn't even attempt to summon when she attack the damn juubi jin she simply ran at him like a fool and tried to punch him.

If tsunade held back such an "offensive" summon against a foe like Edo madara, What makes you think sakura would use it on one such as hidan?.

Ben the scan you presented with hidan downplaying his skills doesn't say much considering his feat with asuma and kakashi speaks otherwise, he is proficient enough in taijutsu and speed and has good reaction time.

If the combined power of the 5 Kages wasn't enough to take him down then why do you think Tsunade should have summoned Katsuyu and waste her chakra?

though I'm not sure about it. And like I said an 1vs1 ( not 5vs1 or 10.000 vs 1 ) scenario is completely different. The problem with Tsunade is that she has no legit 1vs1 feats.

1. I never said that. I said old=/= weak.
2. Had you clarified the way you were using the word old( it does work both ways in your original sentence) we wouldn't be here.
3. He (just like kakuzu) were introduced as immortals. As such his age is essentially a variable. We weren't informed on when he gained immortality or how long he's had it.

Why not?, a little extra fight power wouldn't hurt and you're always harping on about how durable and tanky Katsuyu is and how her acids melts shit and how Tsunade/Sakura (or in this case the kages) can hide inside her to avoid an attack or so on.

Plus she could heal all 4 simultaneously.

Itachi's clone stalemated kakashi's clone who again he didn't hit
Deidara with no arms took on team guy.
Kakazu landed hits on kakashi
Sasori isn't debatable
Kisame handled himself well against be who styles on kenjutsu/cqc users for a living, either way samehada out ranges his scythe.
He isn't hitting obito who took on team 7 and 10(kurenai's team I believe) while joking, then took on two perfect jins and the masters while serious.
