I was thinking this:
if you have the seal, someone from the higher family can kill you, but doesn't matter wich family the byakugan is, both will lose it when they die.

The Branch House are branded with a cursed seal to protect the Byakugan's secrets, which serves to seal the Byakugan once the user dies.
One of the main branch could theoretically kill with it, because there is a jutsu tied in with it that allows main house members to inflict pain on seal wearers, by destroying brain cells.

I just don't get why the Main House can die and give away their byakugan, while the Branch House byakgaun will be destroyed.
This doesn't fit, really.
Is this confirmed by the manga that Main House byakugan user wont lose it when he dies?

This is really strange.
I was going to make a theory about Byakugan importance, but without it I can't do much.

I don't get it either. supposedly, it's to keep people from stealing the byakugan from corpses or something. Yet the main branch doesn't have it. Really don't get that

If Hinata died then someone could take her eyes. But someone from a branch family with the curse mark like Neji will have their byakugan die with them. So when you think about it this way it means that Ao

Somehow I'm starting to believe that any Hyuuga will lose his byakugan once he dies. Or at least every Hyuuga have a seal, but main house the seal is just to seal the byakugan once the person dies.
