Looking ahead at the clone which is about ten meters from me I begin to run toward it to build momentum for my next movement. THe enitire time I have my right hand on the handle of my blade and my left on the scabbard. Once the area from my opponent and my own current momentum seem sufficient I leap into the air letting the built momentum carry me forward as I draw out my blade. Coming directly over my opponent I point my sword directly down at the clone and allow gravity to bring me down towars the clone dispersing it as my blade goes straight through it
Alright, before I move on, gonna talk a bit about this jutsu. While this is definitely a fun move to use during fights, it also has a high risk factor. Whenever you are in the air during any jutsu or technique, you are basically succumbing yourself to gravity's mercy and the only point of acceleration, unless another force comes into play, is downwards. By jumping on top of your opponent, you not only expose yourself to danger, as being higher in the air makes you an easy target, but the position also makes it hard for you to dodge or escape any moves thrown at you as your body momentum can only go down. Now, this can easily be changed with a move from Wind or Earth, upon which if you would like further speculation, I would be more than glad to go into detail, however, I am simply informing you about the risks and rewards of this jutsu.
Alright, this next technique utilizes a new concept: by sending chakra to your feet and then pushing off your heels for a running start, you can temporarily boost your speed, which should allow you cover the distance of two meters fairly quickly. Of course, charging your chakra can be extremely beneficial in various ways, but those two are the main concepts. So now, I'd like you to try this out. Send chakra to your feet, take an appropriate stance, and then launch yourself at my clone - strike him this time with handle of your sword and then follow up with several kicks that are measured in precise power to send my clone upwards into the sky. But before he touches ground, chakra boost once more to catch up to him and then punch him into a nearby tree. Once you are done, tell me what the significance of using the sword handle was along with a single way how chakra charging could help you in a fight.

Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.
I began charging chakra into my feet to aid in quicker movement as I grasp the handle of my sheathed sword with my right leg forward and left leg a little behind it. I push off of my heels and begin running fairly quickly toward the clone. Able to cover distance quickly I semi unsheathed my sword striking the enemy with the handle of my sword and then attack with a series of kick aimed in such a way that it knocks the clone up into the sky. Taking advantage of the aerial position I use the chakra gathering to my feet I jump up catching up to the clone in order to deliver a final punch knocking him into a nearby tree.
Hitting the enemy with the sword handle deals blunt force damage and knocks enemy off balanced while the blade for the next series of attacks that follow it. Boosting yourself with chakra allows for better movement surpassing your normal physical barriers. You will be able to defend, attack, and move faster and better.
You are definitely correct when you say that one can defend, attack and move faster by charging chakra, however, there is more to it. Charging chakra to your feet while thrown off balance by moves (such as World Shaking, a C-Rank Earth jutsu) could allow you to stay on your feet or when you land unevenly upon the ground. Furthermore, using the blunt of your sword allows you to "test conditions" before using your own body's brute force to strike an opponent or solid material.
Now, this next jutsu goes off the concept we just went over. Take up your blade, charge your own chakra into it and then carefully measure the distance between you and my clone. Then proceed to start running to build up momentum - once close, deliver an upwards strike to my clone that will send him into the air and then jump up to meet his height. Once you are next to him, stab your blade into him and then start by twisting your body so that in a "drilling" manner, you rotate with your blade downwards to impale my clone into the earth.

I grab more sword and unsheath it channeling my chakra into it as I measure the distance between the clone and I making sure that my next steps will be carrried out to perfection. I begin running very quickly to close the distance between the clone and I and once I reach a safe enough distance to begin the assualt I deliver an uppercut with the momentum and strength of my moving body behind it to launch the enemy up in the air. Immediately afterward jump up high using a little chakra to aid my movements in order to reach his position. I stab the enemy and then start spinning around while my blade has impaled him to create a deep drilling effect as gravity brings us back down with aid of my force until the clone crashes into the ground impaled and later dispersed.
As I have spoken about gravity and the such with the previous jutsus, there's not much left for me to say about this certain technique. Now, this next one, is rather important.
As you are now familiar with channeling chakra into your blade, I'd like you to do so this time around - however, it is not simply to power up strikes, but to actually expel the chakra from your blade in the form of a chakra wave when you swing. I'll have my clone stand about ten meters away from you. Take note of his current position and give your blade a few swings. Once you believe you are ready, charge chakra into your blade and then with either one hand or two, swing it in front of you like you were Ichigo delivering a Getsuga Tensho and release that chakra in the form of a red wave that slices my clone's head off clean.
I take note of the instructions and stand about ten meters away from the clone holding my blade with two hands. My right hand is on top of the left and my blade Is pointed at a 45 degree angle. My right leg is slightly ahead of my left and both knees are bent. I practice a couple of swings, vertical swings, horizontal swings, two hand, one hand. Once I am ready to begin the technique I begin to channel chakra into my blade and once a certain amount was built up I swung the blade horizontally with one hand aiming at the clones neck while releasing the built chakra in a crescent wave of the red color. The crescent wave easily beheaded the clone.
Excellent focus upon my clone. Glad to see you're maintaining a proper stance. Now, before we move on, I'd like to ask you several questions. As you know, there are mainly three ranges in battle we classify as short, mid, and long. Each of these range as 0-5 meters, 5-10 meters, and lastly, 10-15 meters. It is important to take note of range at all time during battle as it may cause some techniques to hit or miss. Now, varying ranges have their varying advantages and disadvantages. Going off this, there a few topics we must discuss in detail.Firstly, what dangers and risks might you be taking when you expose yourself in short range? Secondly, how might mid/long range differ from short range in terms of attacks/gravity. Lastly, I will pose a scenario for you. Let us say your opponent was about mid range from you and he released a sphere of water at you and you planned on countering with the very technique I taught you. How might you aim this technique and why?
Finally, how is your mastery of Lightning coming along? How far are you?

How might you aim this technique and why?
When going in short range you are potentially exposed to all ranges of attacks and some of the faster attacks in the NW. You have to react much quicker as you have less time than in mid/long ranges. Also the closer you are the less likely you will be able to complete handseals.
Second mid/long range attacks are usually much larger than the short range techniques. So large and dangerous that if the user were to use it short range they would end up getting caught and injured in their own technique thus the reason they use it mid-long range. Due to the size they usually are they take longer than short ranged techniques like Raikiri and taijutsu.
If one launched a sphere of water from mid range I would have ample time to think and develop a counter but using the jutsu you taught me I would vertically swing my sword creating a crescent wave of chakra to split the sphere in two. SinceI’m on the ground I will want the sphere to disperse to my sides as I can still run in that direction if I want to passing me instead of dispersing vertically. In which I would have to jump over it.
Finally, how is your mastery of Lightning coming along? How far are you?
Perfect response. Being in short range does indeed mean that you have less time to react to enemy attacks which makes certain shinobis extremely dangerous. Off the top of my head, I can think of EIG masters, Taijutsu specialists, and of course, Gentle Fist users. It always benefits you to know your enemy well and what they might specialize in order to determine the proper countermeasures. That's a good point regarding mid/long though what I was aiming for here is the effect of gravity on moves from that range. Now, the technique you just learned only goes up to mid range - this is because gravity constantly drags objects/projectiles downwards while friction eats away at their acceleration, thus, weakening the attack enough so its useless by the time it goes into long range.
That's some creative thinking! But yes, you do indeed to split the sphere in two and it's important to state where exactly you slice the sphere in two. There is quite the difference in aiming for the side when compared to the middle and this goes for all sorts of attacks when you are using your sword. Always target the spot that aims to hold everything together.
Nice to know you've mastered Lightning. Now, as you have been taught, Chidori happens to be a very versatile technique. I'd like you take up your sword and set your sights on my clone that stands short range before you. Charge your Chidori into the blade that you hold and then proceed to stab it into my clone any way you wish. Given the elemental addition, tell me how this might affect the power of your swings and the extra effects it delivers onto an opponent when.
I have my katana sheathed with my right hand/arm reaching across my body to grasp the handle. As I charge to the clone I unsheathed the blade while creating/and channeling Raiton chakra into my right hand then channeling it through the blade using it as a medium for my chidori. The blade radiates and chirps as it becomes enveloped by the channeled chidori I stab the clone in his gut.
With Raiton chakra in the blade its penetrating power is increased dramatically. It easily slices through solid materials with little effort. In a match against other swords this would allow you to overpower the enemy. With lightning it also has a paralyzation attack. In my ration training I saw many attacks numbing the enemy so I imagine this would do that as well.
Ah, you pretty much covered everything that there is about this technique. Very straightforward but also helpful and definitely stronger than a normal sword attack. Take note that elemental properties take effect when using this technique so cutting against jutsu that contain earth within it is much more effective.
Well, for this next technique, we're once again dealing with channeling chakra through the blade. This time, it is your own normal chakra, but release enough so that your blade turns blue, indicating a strong cutting power. Then, proceed to launch yourself into the air in a horizontal direction, turning your body in a 360 rotation while gripping your sword to the side to create a spinning circle. Target my clone to slice right through him.

I first begin charging chakra into my blade. I charge enough into my blade so that it turns a blue color indicating its cutting power. Leaping into the air I leap in such a way that I launch myself toward the clone spinning in a horizontal type fashion 360 degress holding my swotd to its side so that I create a powerful slashing circle that destroys the clone with ease.
Okay, don't forget the important details. This move, is in fact, much more complicated than the previous ones. As you are launching yourself horizontally in the air, you're basically propelling your body momentum forward without any regard to the fact that if you are attacked in midair, it would be hard for you to regain your balance. Also, don't forget that your enemy can also easily sidestep this move and use it against you.
Now, this next technique is rather unique. I'd like you to take up your blade and then stab it directly into the ground. Now, when I use the Nagashi technique in a moment, observe the effects of it as the lightning is "absorbed" into your sword. Inform me as to how this might help you during a battle.

Description: The user will channel chakra into their sword making it glow blue and then jumping into the air they spin at a rapid rate creating a spinning circle and cutting through the enemy target.
As instructed I take up my blade and stab it into the ground awaiting for you to use your Nagashi technique. The Nagashi when traveling through the ground would be absorbed by my blade as i help the process along with chakra. During a battle this would help especially if you did not have any wind jutsus to stop the lightning without having to leave the ground (if it was used on the ground) or if you have allies or clones around you and a widespread attack like nagashi is used or other attacks that can effect multiple enemies you can draw the charge to your sword instead. It is an automatic defense for such techniques and does not have alot of error incase you want to play it safe.

Description: The user by use of a sword can use it as a rod to attract lightning currents that are channeled into the user from opponents attacks and by pointing the tip of the blade into the ground the user is then able to dispel the lightning charge nullifing the effects of paralysis. However this only works on free flowing lightning based techniques such as the Chidori current and not on focused lightning based techniques
And that completes all the Kenjutsu techniques I can teach you. o-o VM me for further thingies.
