Was that confusing to anyone else?

I cant help but feel like I missed a whole chunk of the movie, like it wasnt very together.

And now this movie completely rewrites all previous movies? Like none of them happened?

I am mad Rouge wasnt shown at all, like she had no role except that cameo eventhough she was promoted as a having a role. The cameo of Jean and Scott was nice.

They closed a lot of plot holes but a bunch were still wide open.

I liked it but its felt so weird and random.

Right the only Canon now is First class and Days of Future past.
What about the wolverine, that is so stupid to make that movie when all the events in that movie would be nothing. At the end credit Magneto and Xavier find Logan in the airport, saying they need his help then we come to this dark future. What happened between there?

I'm confused on this one.
When Wolverine is sent back in time he still has bone claws meaning he hadnt gone through the program yet. Then at the end of the movie he is saved by "Stryker" who is actually Mystique so it doesnt seem like he is going to go through the program.

We dont actually see his claws at the end of the movie in the new future so we dont know if he went through the program during the years.

Thanks I get it now. In X Men Origins Wolverine he gets adamantium in 1981. Days of the future past is set in 1973.

Too much wolverine was boring. I'm glad the filmmakers realized it. X men are a team. It's good they decided to focus on others (Xavier, Magneto, Misteque, Beast ) in these two movies. I hope quicksilver gets to be one of the main characters in X Men Apocalypse.

It's not that difficult to understand guys. The movie actually explains everything in a good simple way, you just have to pay close attention.

There are two timelines, one we all know about that the original trilogy and two Wolverine movies take place. The second is First Class and the past part of DOFP including the end with the new present.

Since they changed the past there's only one timeline that exists now and that's from First class and the changed events in DOFP. Prof. X and Wolverine however seem to be the only two characters that remember living in both timelines. Well 1 and a half for Wolverine since he doesn't know the events of the new timeline.
