False statement. The Mizukage is more versed in short to mid range techniques while only possessing one tech that is capable of all ranges which is Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu. While it is true that Sasuke is mainly skilled in short mid range combat he trumps Mei in this aspect with the variation and quantity of techniques. He also possesses two long range techs which are Kirin and Katon: Gōryūka no Jutsu which is this for those of you who don't know. I state this from the information I gathered from Narutopedia which may seem unreliable at times but is the only source as far as I know for the range of techniques.

I believe her Youton: Yokai no jutsu can be considered as a mid-long ranged technique.

Against Sasuke she was using it as a close-mid ranged technique, but against Madara she extended the range of her technique by several meters. And like you said, her Suiton: Suiryudan no jutsu is definitely a long ranged technique. So all in all, it is safe to assume Mei is skilled in close ranged combat ( Futton: Komu no jutsu, Suiton: Suijinchū ), mid range combat ( lava globes ), mid-long range combat ( Youton: Yokai no jutsu ) and long range combat ( Suiton: Suiryudan no jutsu ). She also possesses a technique that has an aoe ( Kirigakure no Jutsu )

The Narutopedia is written mostly by fans. Obviously it can be a reliable source, but in Mei's case it isn't because she has no databook entry.

Youkai no jutsu. Her lava technique also covers a pretty wide area, so if she decides to
spam it, it will be impossible for Sasuke to avoid her lava barrage. This would force him
to enter CS2 and fly, making himself an easy target for Mei's Suiton: Suiryudan.​

Kakashi did pretty well holding off Zabuza's attacks [x] [x] [] [x] Keep in mind that Zabuza thickened the mist to the point that the normal eye can't see and was only able to fight in this environment due to being a master at silent killing and by tracking his opponent by sound. To my knowledge Mei doesn't possess this skill as Zabuza does meaning that she will have to keep it where she would be able to see. This gives Sasuke the opportunity to rush her in this scenario to blitz and cut her down with his sword. Get her Chidori Eiso if he can't close the distance and manipulate it to do this killing Mei [x] This technique can reach 5 meters btw [x]

Hmm, I don't remember that happening. I'm not watching fillers.
But Zabuza had no Futton. Mei can easily combine her Futton with her Kirigakure no jutsu. The sharingan can see the chakra, but it can't see the difference between the normal mist and the acid mist, especially if they are mixed.
Mei isn't getting blitzed as long as she has her Futton 'shield'. She should be able to stop Sasuke's Chidori Eiso with her Suiton: Suijinchū. The water conducts the electricity, this means it will simply 'trap' Sasuke's Raiton. As long as Mei won't touch the water, she should be fine.

I'm fully aware of Sasuke's speed feats, considering he is my favorite character, lol. I agree with everything, but why are you using EMS Sasuke's speed feats? I thought this is Hebi Sasuke ( the one who fought Itachi ) and not war arc Sasuke with the EMS restricted.​

Mei possesses only six techniques with one being long range.This won't cut it against someone like Hebi Sasuke who has a wider variation of techs. All of her techs are avoidable before Sasuke's sharingan precognitive abilities and speed. The ones such as corrosive acid can be nullified with what I said above... I haven't even got to some of his other abilities. Hebi Sasuke takes this match up from what I see.

But the Mizukage's techniques are perfect counter against Sasuke's techniques.

* Youton: It makes Sasuke almost impossible to stay on the ground
* Futton: It prevents Sasuke from blitzing Mei.
* Suiton: Suijinchū: blocks Sasuke's Katons, shields Mei against attacks like shurikens, kunais, etc.

Cm2 fireballs waste a whole lot of chakra. If Sasuke does that, Mei will just create another mist and then he's screwed.

I heard a good argument where someone said that Sasuke's snakes can sense heat/body heat of a person which would allow Sasuke to locate Mei. However Mei can mix in her vapour style into the mist which would make sensing heat uses less since her boil release is all heat as well.
