ok i talked to my best friend here whos also muslim and he said that tattos are against Quran and i really want to get a tatto and i searched a little in the net and it also said its not allowed because u are changing your body from what allah created u like so i am asking all the muslim people here what do u guys/gals think?

I'm not sure, I have no intentions of getting tattos. As far as I know, it is forbidden to have tattos on a muslim body. It's against the rules, but the rules are to be broken. As far as I know, its illigal to drink any kind of alcohol, but I know of many muslims who drink. If it is your desire to get a tatto, and if your parents won't shoot you with the shotgun for getting one, go ahead imo.
I'm muslim and since you know it's not allowed so, it's better to avoid it ^^
and honestly I dislike seeing tattoson on others.
u may like it for a while in ur life then when ya get older ,u'll start to hate it then u'll have to remove it o.o so, why getting it at the first place?

i was to lazy to read xD lol but i will when i have time and i knew about the drinking but still i didnt know it when i was 12 and i am drinking since then >_> but still i respect the person not drinking alcohol^^ its something bad i know
The reason why your thread was deleted was to prevent a flame/insult war. Such threads always result in that. If you're going to make threads that involve religion think before you do that.
On topic: I haven't a clue but if you are Muslim or not, you always need to consider it very carefully when you want to take a tattoo. Otherwise you can end up like the "star-girl" Kimberly from my country xd
Only reason you should be in doubt is if somebody could harm you because of it. Other than that, go right ahead. No deity is going to punish you for it, because deitys and theism is a bunch of fictional crap that doesn't exist, and people only need it to satisfy their need to believe there exists a greater power that can watch over them.

?nah afcource everyone has his own opinion i am not against that but dont u think there is something i watched a lot of documentaries and i am just like u my friend i am a scientific person i need proof for something to believe in it i watched so many documentaries about extraordinary powers but u just have to believe in something if u dont believe then theres nothing left am i wrong? if u are left alone from everyone u are left with believe in god and u still would have hope for something other then be all without an explanation why did this and that happen god gives u courage when no ones there for u when u are left all alone so i decided to believe in god a few years back rather then just toss him away from my side i would gain nothing from that
and about the tatto thing my family is not like those kinds of families they are perfectly okay with me getting a tatto my father just says that its not a good thing because your just becoming a "marked donkey" with his words everyone in the world gets them so they become "marked" its special if u could stay intact but still he gave the choice to decide as for my mother she said do as u wish but if u want wait a while longer until u can think about it so i am gonna wait for 18 and decide then

all the scholars unaimously say that it is forbidden and by doing so ur prayers become makruh{sorry i dont know what it is called is english}.also if a person knows that a certain thing is a sin but still he does it, it is greater sin than u do in ignorance.also it isnt necessary that u do wht most people around u r doing.as also many people in the world have diff. religions.so u shold stick to ur religions teachings.as in a hadith it is said that[at the day of judgement there will be 73 groups of muslims but of them only one will directly go into jannah]
