Even when Madara was a crippled old man who couldn't survive unless he was connected the Gedo Statue... he was making some dank plans then with what little of his power he had. His corruption of Nagato and Obito are basically the reasons why the series has gone as far as it has.

why are people mentioning Itachi just about all his plans failed, died so sasuke could become a hero, itachi died sasuke became a villain, wanted to avoid a world war so he eliminated the uchiha , a world war broke out with Uchiha as the commander, gave naruto the eye so he could change sasuke, eye was used on himself instead of sasuke. Why is Itachi such a great strategist again
