Considering that Madara is my favorite character, I think I have a right to complain lol
I must admit though, I grew to like him less as the Juubi Jin. Madara red armor/black hair is still my favorite.
First off, Madara being defeated is not the issue here. It was obvious he was going to be defeated at some point
Please Read it all before commenting something dumb. Understand my position rather than assuming it. Yes I am butthurt, but not for the reason you might think
Madara's power
I felt he didn't get his chance to shine. He just obtained the second rinnegan finally and we don't even see him fight at the apex of his power.
All we saw was Infinite Tsukuyomi and an overload of Chibaku Tensei.
Honestly, Madara hasn't even gotten angry yet. He always had a cocky and jokey attitude. When he was fighting Hashirama in the flashback, he was angry.
I was hoping to see that, it would make him seem like he's actually serious when fighting.
Madara deserved better
I also felt it was a bit of an unworthy defeat. He needed to get backstabbed....again.
He had no time to reflect on his defeat, and it happened only because he let his guard down to his "lackey" that he trusts.
The protagonists weren't the ones to defeat him.
For a name that has been prevalent throughout the majority of the manga, he deserved a better way to go.
Also, I think having Kaguya as the final villain is unneeded. The concept of "the Manipulator of the Manipulator" has already been played out way too many times for me to be shocked at her arrival.
When Obito revealed himself to be the true leader of Akatsuki, it was unexpected and awesome
When Madara revealed to be the one pulling Obito's strings, it was epic
Kaguya being the main villain out of nowhere and being behind "everything".....is redundant at this point
It just makes the whole 2 arcs meaningless if the protagonists weren't the ones to even defeat the villains. It had to be another villain to defeat both of them and take their place. Now we're back to square one again
Possibility for a turn around?
My only hope is that there still might be a possibility for Madara to turn the tide. Kaguya could have underestimated him and he would take back control, only granting support to his character as a mastermind schemer.
I even made a thread about a week ago, about the possibility for Madara to get rid of Kaguya's influence
