Just remembered that obito seemingly did a great job warding off black zetsu, at least long enough to fight around against Madara, get to kamui land, and get naruto in touch with the SO6P (not to mention resurrecting him).

Now we learn black zetsu is Kaguya. Putting aside my other complaint for the moment (that supposedly Madara had absorbed Kaguya) are we now to assume obito was strong enough to go toe to toe with Kaguya for so long?

I find that hard to believe, so I am thinking a$$pull by kishi.

I was thinking the exact same when BZ was revealed to be Kaguya's will. Obito is a great character and his will is extremely strong. Even if he was driven by impure motives, the strength to turn against the world and pursue one's own ideals is commendable.​

Black Zetsu put just enough pressure on Obito to make him unable to crush the left rinnegan.

Good, so you are in the camp that believes this is all planned. So what good does Kazuya get from letting naruto resurrect with power that sealed the tree in the ten tails in the first place? Are you going with the notion that Kaguya was not powerful enough to stop naruto meeting with the SO6P, or do you think there is a reason Kishi cooked up for Kaguya actually wanting naruto to get that power? If she is so clever as to play Madara, wouldn't she know that her grandson had incarnated in naruto, as well?

It think the bind on madara is only this strong because the god tree (and therefore kaguya) is inside madara

I would say kaguya let Obito take control up to the point it was in her best interest to act

since if she acted before the whole SA would of beat her to a pulp where as when Madara is at his max and the only people left standing in your way are Team 7 [since they didn't mention edo kages]

so she took Madara by surprise to steal her original power all in all what she did was the smart way of going about it

As for your picture , that is what is happening to Madara right now . Not to mention he is a Juubi jin , with a lot of chakra conserves , while on other hand Obito was extremely wounded (by having Kakashi stab him to remove the seal in the heart) , yet he managed to tame Black Zetsu , even Juubi .

Sorry but Obito > Madara , that's a fact .
