I actually bought a Zombie Survival Book and it's funny that I bought it since my favorite author Max Brooks made it sound so real.
Anyways on topic. I definetly go to a nieghborhood mall. It's technically the safest spot there is with the longest durability and a lot of areas of control. It allows the person to forget the situation giving a person spirit and the advantage over the field since you control everything.
The weapons definetly matter since weight, excersise, body shape, and personal experience comes into play here. The best combination of weapons is technically a crowbar, katana, m16 assualt rifle, and a 9 mm pistol. The ammo is prolly the lightest thing you'll carry and the ability to shoot from burst to single is ideal for less micromanaging. Katana for close range battle against the undead which is perfect since they are already ditieriating from the inside out and slicing through them will be easier than a living body. A crowbar is not a weapon but can by used as one. The crowbar is there for you to be able to get in and out of tight spots, lift things, and ect...
Short hair, long sleeve (not dangily or shiney) shirt, blue or black jeans, combat boots, shin/knee/elbow pads or braces, and last but not least a baseball cap or not hate at all. The ideal get up for a zombie surviver. With all this there is a high chance you will live for a long time.
