Tbh, I don't know a single Tupac song. I can name some Biggie and Nas songs but not that much. Ppl who barely know hip hop will always call Pac the GOAT just cuz that's what all the old heads say. They didn't form that opinion with their own ears

His following is minuscule compared to Pac's, to be viewed as good, bad or great you have to have fans, the amount of fans that buy your albums are the ones who think your are good. If someone else has more fans that think they are better and there is no other measurable way to see who is actually better then your artist you like is not better than Pac or whomever has more following them.

My opinion already doesn't matter, it wouldn't matter if everyone agreed with me or vice versa, in the end no one's opinion matter. But using popularity as a reason why a rapper is good is just dumb, like I said earlier, it's about quality/personal preference.

Yeah that's why I had to go back and listen to Pac. I heard too much hype and when I listened, it's not like I didn't like it, I just didn't see the hype others saw. I listened to two albums back to back and just wasn't super impressed (Had several songs I really like though). But with people like Tribe Called Quest, Biggie, Nas, Korrupt, etc, I just felt like Pac wasn't there for me like I liked these guys. But Pac is still better than most rappers today.

Btw, I still jam Couch with Earl and Tyler, my favorite flow by Earl in his music career.
