^In the pairing thread, members constantly argue about which ship has the most likelihood about becoming canon. Truth be told, the majority of the love isn't very genuine as far as pairings go or well-written. NaruSaku has some development, but the writing for it isn't where it should be...but it's getting there, if Kishimoto decides not to troll the fanbase and make a ship for Naruto canon. MinaKushi was good, but it's not like they got to spend their lives together. Also, speaking of MinaKushi, the majority of the pairs include death if you haven't already noticed. Like AsuKure, ObiRin, DanTsu, JiraTsu, etc. Most of the pairings among the younger generation are primarily teasers too, and not for serious discussion. NaruHina, ShikaTema, LeeTen, NaruSaku, etc are just to pull pairing fans into the fanbase. Even NaruSasu. XD The romance in this manga isn't serious by any means. It's just there to add another dynamic to the story and pull in more fans.

The point is, I just think that Itachi's love for Sasuke is the purest from in the manga. Right up there with Kushina's/Minato's love for Naruto. So, it's exceptionally heart-warming to see and is better to talk about than pairings. Because it's real and it doesn't falter, it is also based upon development and natural feelings.
