[Theory] Edo Hokage Immunity to IT, Tying the loose ends.

My early thread about The Edo Hokages immunity to Infinite Tsukuyomi had two plot holes which I will try to solve in this theory :-

1) The Edo Hokages are dead, lack life force and thus are immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi.

2) Orochimaru was also present in the Reaper Death Seal Spirit's belly, yet he was not immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Edos have life force in the form of their souls which is used in Edo Tensei.

The above image proves that Edos have life energy and thus, have Chakra.

The Shinju also absorbs Edo Madara's Chakra in the below image proving that it can absorb chakra of Edos under Infinite Tsukuyomi.

The Juubi could put the Edo's under Infinite Tsukuyomi and use their Chakra to ripen the fruit. Thus, Edos are not immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Also, a huge glaring point arises here which is explained below.

2) The Juubi takes back the Chakra of the hosts under Infinite Tsukuyomi. (Manga Fact)

But, The Edos have Chakra. They can use Ninjutsu and Genjutsu which requires Chakra. Thus, for the Juubi to not take back their chakra via Infinite Tsukuyomi is a major plot hole. It only leads to two possibilities :-

A) Edos don't have Chakra and thus Infinite Tsukuyomi which gives the Juubi's fruit, Chakra does not affect them. (Impossible due to Edo Madara, Nagato and countless other Edos using Ninjutsu and Genjutsu which requires Chakra).

B) Edos are not immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi (Which is the case).

Also, Tobirama is the creator of Edo Tensei. This logically means that he knows each and every aspect of Edo Tensei.

Yet, he is surprised when he realises that he is immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi.

This means that either :-

A) The Edo Hokage's immunity comes from Kaguya or the Reaper Death Seal Spirit.

B) Or Tobirama didn't know that Edos were immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi which is impossible considering the information he got from Orochimaru and Hashirama's knowledge about the Shinju.

Conclusion :-

B) The Juubi takes back chakra from the beings via Infinite Tsukuyomi to make the fruit grow.

C) Thus, Edos are not immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi because they have chakra.

So, my belief is Orochimaru's soul was incomplete, only his hands were sealed, thus, the influence of Kaguya was slight and not complete. Thus, Orochimaru is partially immune to Infinite Tsukuyomi.

There is also a possibility that Orochimaru will break out of Infinite Tsukuyomi. Why ? Consider this.

If Orochimaru couldn't break out of Infinite Tsukuyomi, then what will be the Edo Hokage's role ? Thier Immunity to Infinite Tsukuyomi will be a moot point. Madara could easily influence Orochimaru to cancel Edo Tensei via Infinite Tsukuyomi just like Itachi did with Kabuto.

Conclusion :-

Chakra and Life energy are the same thing, It came from the Juubi and both give life. In essence both are the same thing as Chakra = Energy = Must have life energy.

Juubi keeps the hosts under I.T. alive and uses their own power to show them dreams. If Juubi takes away all the chakra of the hosts under I.T. they will be dead.

If Orochimaru could be partially immune to I.T. he would have freed himself before getting wrapped up by those bandages. Now that he is caught, it will be difficult for him to break through because his own dreams will be heavier than his determination to breakthrough I.T.

This thread is a failure. The explanation is actually very simple. The edokages do not have any living body, and they don't have any leaving organs. Their eyes are not alive, and their body are mere dusty forms. There is no water, blood, etc. They are merely the product of a ninjutsus just like a Rasengan.

Therefore, you cannot manipulate their blood vessel or control their brain wave simply because they don't have any. They have know brain, nothing. You cannot manipulate them through genjutsu because they don't have any chakra network. Their current chakra is sourced by the edo tensei jutsu, and their soul have their past knowlegde that they can use themselve to perform jutsu.

The evidence that you have given has helped make the theory seem possible. I didn't notice that Madra's Edo chakra was absorbed by the Shinjuu.
