But if a clone was caught, and the original sees or senses what a clone does (seen that how many thousands of times with Naruto already), wouldn't the original be caught up in it, as well?

actually as shown with naruto during his rasenshuriken training the original does recieve mental and physical fatigue and since the clones would be under mental stress of a jutsu like I.T i think naruto would recieve that same mental stress and fatigue

Clones are just solid energy with memories and experience,Clones need not sleep sines they stay active till either the user or the clone disperses it self and the memories return to the original or they run out chakra. They are not really alive like the Edo they shout be immune. Who knows maybe this might be the evolution of Naruto's clones to the next level?. If it is then Naruto would have surpass the Second Hokage sine He was the inventor of clones.

I think you are right but like I said maybe their will be new level to clone use? After all Justus do get improve, Naruto did complete the Rasengan and He keeps adding new variants.
