Naruto had 4 clones battling Madar's limbo clones (or duplicates, not sure they are really clones). Last we saw, that fight was still happening with no indication they were withdrawn or killed. Actually they were more than holding their own.

So assuming they are still battling and didn't poof off panel, Naruto still has eyes outside of suckske's susanno.

Lots kishi could do with that if it is just not an oversight. Naruto, for example, could have those clones go help some of the others, strategize with the edo Kages, assess the situation so they can devise a plan from within susanno, etc.

Thoughts?

They're alive. So, probably, they're caught in eternal tsukuyomi.

They're probably caught in IT if they're alive

They would disappear anyway.

Why? Clones don't disappear until (1) "killed," or (2) released. I don't recall a case where genjitsu has killed or trapped a clone.

I would find it funny if the clones are controlled by Madara via genjutsu, and Naruto has to fight himself.

Possibility, but a rehash of the "true self" episode at the waterfall prior to his training with Bee. Also the filler on the ship ride over to the island.

Could just release the clones anyway, so not much of a fight.

I remember the fight, but I don't recall kakashi clones being poofed specifically from genjitsu.
He was still caught in it. That's the point. They're probably caught in Eternal Tsukuyomi.

Yes, Kakashi was caught, but only because Itachi caught the real Kakashi. He was not caught through a clone. IT so far cannot reach the real Naruto, so not exactly the same scenario.

I am arguing this as a prediction. I am just exploring possible (logical) plot twists the kishi has setup.

IT seems to affect the individual through light itself, or looking at someone's eyes that has already been affected. So I don't think there's reason to believe they're not caught in it.

Also, the genjutsu affected Kakashi's clone, not the real Kakashi. He buried underground and had the clone attack him.

But if a clone was caught, and the original sees or senses what a clone does (seen that how many thousands of times with Naruto already), wouldn't the original be caught up in it, as well?

I think it just works as a learning experience. Because clones get killed, stabbed, whatever. That should be overlapped to the original Naruto. It has never been shown to be able to work like that, but you have a point.

Maybe they will go to the kages next chapter. I don't think the clones would under genjutsu like the others. Considering that Nardo also has power from Hagoromo himself, I would suspect he has a way of being immune.
