Kidōmaru low diff. He can trap his insects with his webs, and tie up Shino. He then summons his spiders to take care of the bugs and kills Shino with a boomerang.

Spiders eat bugs. And these spiders are REALLY big.

(For real though you have to have a VERY specific set of skills to go up against Kidomaru, Shino isn't fast enough to keep up with the Spider Summoning or dodge his projectiles. All of his attacks as well are going to struggle to get through his gold sticky armour and since I don't imagine this as a fight Shino can get up and personal we can count out the insect summoning too.

Good luck trying to eat that metal. Plus you need gentle fist or blistering speed to simply avoid the webs, which Shino doesn't have.

shino has clones. neji doesnt. clones even managed to fool neji. and the bugs eat chakra so they can eat the metal.

Naruto used clones against him as well and the only reason Naruto got out of that situation alive was because Kidomaru was toying with his food and his comrades covered for him. Clones are really a very basic tech.

Shino clearly sticks the bug into the Juubi because it has gooey skin.

You can't bury a bug into gold armour, it'll fall off. Also good luck on Shino being able to get that close...ever.

He fooled Kankuro rather easy. clones always fool the enemy.

clones could even fool someone like kakuzu with lots of experience. clones can fool kidomaru.

At first i though Kido low-mid diffs, but then i remembered Shino's fight against Kankuro, where he also hid himself, meaning he won't be taken down that easily with a barrage of projectiles because he's also not the type to confront others 'directly'.
He'll give a fight due to having a counter to Kido's webs and golden armor as well, but he isn't a physical fighter like Neji, therefore he won't be able to close their distance in the same way and he could very well get overwhelmed once they find eachother.

Yeah but opponents like part 1 Kankuro don't have literally a wall of defense, they can catch him offguard but he's going ot end up in the webs clone or not, remember Kimimaro can throw multiple sticky gold projectiles with his 4 arms and mouth, and those were incredibly fast and pretty hard to avoid if you remember. Unless Shino can manage Naruto level shadow clones then they're going to prove pretty useless regardless of whatever trickery he's going for.

He doesn't need to bury the insects. I doubt Kidomaru would notice if there was an insect on him somewhere, and if he manages to make it grow then it'll probably take pretty big chunks out of Kidomaru.

I also don't think that Shino has no chance of getting near Kidomaru. He's pretty clever and could probably plant am insect on him like he did against Kankuro. For all we know he might be able to send them to Kidomaru from a distance too.

I also think that Kidomaru won't overwhelm Shino so easily with webs because he was pretty reliant on his summoning spider against Neji. Shino probably takes out the summoning spider pretty easily.

There's also the fact that any he makes isn't going to stop any insect from going through it. He doesn't really have a way to take out all the insects that Shino sends for him. Shino's bugs eat chakra too so they can possibly devour the webs and break through his armour.
