I also think that Kidomaru won't overwhelm Shino so easily with webs because he was pretty reliant on his summoning spider against Neji. Shino probably takes out the summoning spider pretty easily.

There's also the fact that any he makes isn't going to stop any insect from going through it. He doesn't really have a way to take out all the insects that Shino sends for him. Simon's bugs eat chakra too so they can possibly devour the webs and break through his armour.

Yup. You have to be stupidly fast, a Hyuuga, have a TBB or be able to literally slow down time to deflect it's attacks, Shino has zero counter for it.

Assuming Shino is out in the open with the summoning right above him, in the same situation it was used against Neji, then it would destroy him. However, if it wasn't right above him raining down spiders he could quite easily kill it with his insects. I really doubt that Shino would be as direct as that in a fight, unless it was an insect clone.
