This is interesting. I was just about to post Hiruzen and Danzo vs a different team on this forum later today and had all my material ready! Wow! But its already here...kinda.

Intro​

1st.) Danzo will be sharing intel to Hiruzen about Pains ability, so they can strategize how to take them out efficiently. Before questioning Danzo's intel, we can confirm that Danzo still gathers Konohas intel even keeping himself private and secretive. Example, of how he gain intel of Tsunade attempting to Summon Naruto to fight Pein (and preventing it from happening) or knowing Anko having a mission to track down Kabuto, willing to take her life if she will effect the relationship he wanted to built with Kabuto. Regardless he knows what was happening with Konoha, thus the intel Konoha was sharing around Pein, from the arc to defeat him, will also catch ears from the Roots.

2nd.) Danzo (having Shisui's eye) will enable him to copy Hiruzen's ninjutsu: Wind, Earth, and Water. <--Since he is efficient in using these elements.

Battle Beings​

With the battle beginning, Nagato usually starts the fight with a formation with his paths[

]. I expect Paths to start the battle by overwhelming my characters with summonings. Danzo being on the "clock" will not bother wasting time finishing the battle quick. That said Danzo needs to clear out the rampage summonings while attempting to overwhelm the Paths themselves. The best tactic Hiruzen and Danzo can do using Wind Release the slice through their path. Hiruzen begins to summon his Fuma Shiruken+Shadow Clones(2) for support and giving it to Danzo

Handing a Fuma Shiruzen, Danzo then applies Wind Nature into it, increasing its cutting power

Once thrown it will be cutting through any summonings in its range, taking out their legs, and continue to Paths. Not only that, but Hiruzen will increase its power by adding Futon stream into the following Fuma Shiruken that was thrown[

Of course your premise is to have Petra Path, simply absorbing the incoming Fuma Shiruken, and thats ok. One of Hiruzen Clone (since he made 2 in my premise) will using Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique on the same Fuma Shiruken

So even if Petra attempts to try absorb 1, clone Shiruken will be leading to the other Paths, thus ending taking out 3-4/6 Paths. 3-4(Maybe)= Animal, Human, Asura, and Petra(the maybe because the shiruken itself isn't chakra, only the wind channeled part it). I expect Naraka being behind Deva being safe, while Deva repels the one aiming at him.

This is where the next Hiruzen clone comes in handing by using Katon: Karyū Endan. Lets read the description of that jutsu real quick:

Lets play scenarios where he play a difficult task move for my duo.

Example1: Deva Path BT.

Deva has a choice who he wants to drag in whoever interfere with my premise:

1.) It wouldn't matter as if he took Hiruzen, Danzo's Birth of Trees and be use as a platform to block the pull between Deva and Hiruzen.
2.) If it was to Danzo, then he simply activates 4 seals, using himself as a Kamikaze. The range of this jutsu can cover a whole summoning, so not being aware of its range will suck in all the Paths, thus ending the fight, while Danzo Izanagi out.

Example2: Animal Path: Dog

The dog is impossible to kill by any normal circumstance. Thats ok, as Danzo has Shisui's eye to Genjutsu it, thus taking control with hypnosis. KA is restricted but not generic Sharingan:Genjutsu. If Danzo hits it, he will have multiple of help from the dog, since he will genjutsu the main dog first.

What change in chakra form? Wind? Its quite obvious even if he only did that move in the anime he can also do it in canon. Bee channels lightning chakra through his swords and even pencils. Darui channels it through his sword, and shuriken so I don't doubt for a second Danzo cant. Its the same process, just a different object.

you're thinking of change in Chakra Nature, not form. go back to the chapters where naruto was learning rasenshuriken from yamato.

Honestly I don't see how the fact that he knew they were calling Naruto back proves how he knows pain abilities? He most likely merely over heard them talking? Or perhaps the elders told him, as they were relatively close. I highly and sincerely doubt he has any knowledge on the secrets of pains abilities. Especially seeing as none of the root's members decided to help the village

Does it really? I don't remember Danzo having any special copying abilities? Yes it is a sharingan ability however not everyone is as adept with it as Kakashi is, Hence why he is given the nickname. Highly Doubt Danzo can Copy Kage level jutsu.

That was the formation they used when Deva's abilities were un-available, they could have a different one entirely however i suppose i can use this one for the moment. Nah to start the battle he'd most likely merely summon the Cerberus to start. It would be enough to take up both Hiruzen and Danzo's attention for the time being.

Fuuton Shurikans? Thats not even going to stop the Cerberus alone, as its already been shown to heal from fuuton slicing wounds to the ankles/legs

Pains Offensive
Taking down Danzo may require some time and effort however Hiruzen is merely childs play to the likes of a god like Pain. As you've yet to come up with a solid counter to Cerberus there is the fact that he's still running about distracting them, and since neither of them seem to have defenses for large AOE Attacks imo, Asura's missiles could easily take down Hiruzen and One of Danzo's lives

Also with all the scattered shurikans laying around from your earlier attacks Pain can easily utilize them to his advantage and launch a similar barrage right back at them, causing even more distraction
