1999, though they refer to that style of Godzilla as Godzilla 2000. While it was crappy how he (she?) died from two rockets, I thought it was a good movie. They even said that it would be referred to as Zilla, not Godzilla, because they took away the God part and made it less strong. The name Zilla is even trademarked because of it.
