Several?, try countlessIn case you haven't noticed, Kishi has made several cultural references throughout the entire manga. Religion is one of the most common influences on the manga, how have you not noticed it before?
Lord Madara has a Sharingan as the 3rd eye. How in the world is that not enough?Ok so "rip off" may be too strongly worded. I mean they could have given him more arms, maybe grow some extra headssomething different. Not just an extra 2 shadows or the extra eye. I am a fan but creativity is something I truly appreciate. Yes I do know that most manga are designed around world religions and rely heavily on Hinduism and Buddhism. call me a failure as a Naruto fan if that pleases your ego.
wats there to get over? just because its been inspired from a mthology does it mean that it shouldnt be posted? you think everybody knows about this? not everybody knows abt this.Naruto has been using mythology for the longest get over it
yeah true.asura actually means demon rather than giant.Yes.Kishi applies Asian culture in his manga.
Even the name Indra and Ashura are taken from the Hindu mythology.Indra(the king of celestial beings) and Ashura means demons/giant.
yeah they are the oldest scriptures.they are damn goodAlright,to all the people saying there are many cultures with 3rd eye, well you are entirely wrong. He is the only God,who possess the 3rd eye and it's opening symbolises "Universe's doom and a new beginning". Every story took inspiration from it,directly or indirectly, wherever 3rd eye is used.
OT - Seriously dude, now you are seeing this? The concept of "CHAKRA" is HINDUISM originaly. And tbh,the only mythical stories,I find damn originals are those of Shiva purana,Vishnu purana, vedas,Ramayan,Mahabharat, etc. i.e. Hindu mythology as others seems very much inspirational. Adam and Eve are popular but hinduism too tells some sort of same tale, just different names and that was like before 5000 B.C. *No insult intented for other religion*
