Why indra = ashura

Well if you do not want to accept the truth because hashi stomped madara with only sage mode then by all means you are free to do so but the reason hashi stomped madara was most liklely because kishi wanted to show no matter how powerful you are when you fight for the wrong ideals you always loose.

Look having Indra and Ashura does not make each side's power equal. some reasons are behind this.

1. The individual capacity that they have chosen: these individuals might be the best at that time but doesn't mean that they are both equal

2. Over the year, Indra has been full of himself and believes in his powers. On the other hand Ashura believes in working hard to unlock his potential, so when he comes into someone with potential like Hashirama, he made him work hard to reach unforeseen level, and if you notice, all his incarnates have hardwork ethics that drives them to a higher level e.g. Naruto

So even though Madara had the Bijuu, because Indra relies on his genius ability in battle, he sometimes doesn't harness the greatest potential (For example; because he believes that he can control Bijuus with is eyes, he did not bother becoming its Jinchuriki which might have allowed him to gain mysterious powers) but for Ashura, he is always searching for ways to get better than Indra through hard work like Hashi and Naruto.

However, this then made Madara develop a quest for more power, after interacting with Ashura's part (Hashirama), and in search for more power he read the stones with a more powerful eyes, and with his battle sense, he was able to decipher the true meaning of the writings on the stone. So all this came about from rubbing off of Ashura's incarnate and learning that hard work ethics is good and then practiced with his brother Izuna, and then sort for higher power.

True but my threat title is misleading i didnt know what to put so i just placed that.

but my argument is not that ahsura = indra but the end power of both sides is equal, as i said the 9 bijuu's is equal to the jubi's body and the 3 steps in gaining rennigan + some senjutsu chakra = jubi eye

and it would be unwise to say that the spirit is stronger than the body and the body is stronger than the spirit.

how do we even know ashura was a jinchuriki?, much less if he had 9 beasts then he clearly won the fight because that would be saying ems madara(indra) > current naruto(ashura)

plus i count the tomoed rennigan as 10 since it took madara 9 beats + madou gezo just to get it unless you can prove that the tomoed rennigan does not require 9 beast then its 10.
