As the blast pushes me back I put my hands out and use the momentum to backflip into standing position, then as I feel the darkness coming around me I bite my lip and the pain causes me to break out of the genjutsu then as you make your clones I use

Sending multiple fireballs into the tar in different places causing the tar to flare up quicker.
No. Just...no. You did not just break out of INFINITE DARKNESS which THE SECOND AND FIRST HOKAGE inflicted PAIN! on the third hokage multiple times and he still could not break out of it.
You cannot break out of that genjutsu just by inflicting pain on yourself.
Besides...you cannot even FEEL or SMELL in that genjutsu xd

So you can see in pitch black darkness? Now I understand.
(The Darkness doesn't spread like a pile of ants...lol. It's quick and happens fast. By the time you get up, the jutsu is already in effect. Especially since you just got hit by water jets to the ground).
