Kakashi had kamui since rin death but he didn't use it until part2.

Without sharinghan kakashi will definitely lose against zabuza.

If naruto and sasuke didn't help kakashi here then kakashi will be dead for sure.

Kid Sakura + Kid Naruto + Kid Sasuke + Sharingan Kakashi struggled to beat Zabuza and got saved by his students, and in fact, Zabuza didn't die because of them.

Team 7 > Zabuza > Sharingan Kakashi > No-Sharingan Kakashi.

Nothing suggests the eyes are used to create it, for all we know, the eyes are only needed to unlock it.
