I'm genuinely surprised that no one has mentioned Persona 3 The Movie yet.

Didn't they split up P3 into three movies? Plus the Golden Anime? So much to watch...

Damn, I had a perfect gif for this but I can't find it. Adachi knows which one I'm talking about...

It sucks that it isn't subbed yet... gotta wait a little longer I guess. I'm interested in seeing what kind of character Makoto will be. Is he going to be like Yu?

Yeah, it's going to be 3 movies in total :bouncy:
I'm guessing the 3rd one is going to have "Fall" in the name, following the 'season' theme the other titles have, and, well, you know... ;)

I guess it will take a while before they are all released with english subtitles. ._.

They should've used his other name.

Minato Arisato sounds better, imo.

Agree with you 100%. And apparently they're even using Minato Arisato as the name in Persona Q. Why couldn't they use it for both? :(
Makoto Yuki just sounds a little weird. It might just be one of those names you need to get used to while it slowly grows on you, though.

I found it omg

You must be registered for see images
I've seen that gif before. This is golden. xD

Hey all,

I just wanted to share this Persona 4 MAD/AMV with all of you. It sums up the feelings I had when playing the game perfectly for me, I get goosebumps every time I watch it. Give it a watch, and lemme know if it had the same effect on you :)

That was fantastic. Artistically, it gives you the impression that it's this dark, punk game/anime, but when you actually experience it yourself, it's got a whole different vibe.

I think that's what makes P4 my favorite over P3. The latter already had dark undertones with the Dark Hour and the whole "death" motif, but P4 was so fresh, because on the surface, it had this happy, lighthearted tone and style that was juxtaposed with a murder mystery with plenty of twists. The characters in P4 were far more multifaceted (literally, with the Shadows and all), and it just created something more real and engaging.

So I just picked up Persona 4 Arena. I saw it on sale somewhere and instantly bought it.

I've never seen it before. That was pretty amazing.
Never gets old U_U

:klaus:You know I am going to have to join this fc for sure. Persona is A MONSTER of a game, and the anime is pretty great too. So sign me up whenever you read this.
Welcome to the FC! ^^

I totally forgot to watch this while I was previously posting...

I'm not sure how to say this. I guess Souji said it perfectly. It was pretty fantastic, though I probably didn't really experience the same vibes you guys had during the game. A few of the most intense scenes and even the ''who's the real killer'' twist was already spoiled for me while I was about 2 hours in game.

The killer was spoiled for too, haha, though not that early :O I can see how it would take away some impact for you.

Hmm... you prefer P3, right? Then try this one ;)

It ruined the entire game for me. I think that I would've enjoyed the game a lot more without those spoilers.

Not necessarily. I've been thinking about both Persona 3 and 4 lately and now I'm not sure which game I prefer. Persona 4 feels a lot more vivid for some reason. Persona 3 was pretty straightforward as a game, presenting it's style and characters as any other RPG would. The social links added some character development to the characters, but not as much as Persona 4 managed to do.

Anyway, I immediately knew what song was going to play after reading ''Howling'' in the title. Lol It's the opening to Darker Than Black. I never realized how perfectly this song fits Persona 3. It represents the dark aspects of P3 very well.

(I almost feel like I'm just copying Souji here. >_>...<_<...>_>)

Ah man, that sucks :/

I agree with what you're saying. Whether someone prefers P3 or P4 is almost always because of plot-related things, and never gameplay itself. It all depends on which you connected more with, IMO :)

Oh you watched DtB? I never even heard of it until long after hearing the song in this vid, so I guess it had a different impact on me.

Lmao don't feel like you're copying him, you're just sharing similar opinions. That's a good thing. Imagine if this FC was just us arguing back to back about which game is better or something? It would be a mess lmao.
