Pitou and all the other royal guard are on another level. Pitou is arguable the strongest royal guard and has great battle instincts. Hisoka wouldnt stand a chance. Shes just too fast and her ability is top notch.

Thats why Gon did what he did to win. He pretty much sold his soul to the devil and gave up his life in order to obtain power great enough to beat her. The ants died the way they died because they were just to strong to be beaten in any other way.

If the strongest character in HxH, Old man Netero, ddnt stand a chance against the king (I consider the old man stronger than Pitou) no way Hisoka can beat Pitou. He loves to fight yes but that doesnt mean anything. Power is power, and in the end the one with the greatest power wins. That why Gon beat Pitou, the King was beating Netero (Until he busted out with the Rose), and Yupi was taking down everyone else despite all their strategies.

Skill can make the difference in a close fight between seemingly equal fighters but not like this.

Pitou wins low difficulty.

In the anime Nerf is referred to as a "he" as well. Tripped me out. So I still consider her a girl. That way my mind stays sound and I dont go crazy over it.

After watching it and reading some more chapters, I don't think any ants have any genitalia to denote male or female and they don't repopulate that way so I think they're all actually asexual(if that's the right word, idk there's not a term for it yet) anyway I think the past life that spawned Pitou was a female while the body of Pitou has neither gender's parts.
