Hey guys, so I started a poll to see which characters do you think have the best characterization/story for their actions and motives. I have added a few characters whose background I found interesting and changed 'through the time frame'. Feel free to add your opinions as well !!
Obito – Lost his family and friends in childhood. Worked as the leader of Akatsuki behind the shadows & started the 4th shinobi war. In the end realized his dream of becoming Hokage (accepting his faults are unforgivable) and started helping the Alliance.
Nagato – Suffered from the war crimes by other nations. Fought to achieve peace through co-operation, till the death of his best friend. Ultimately realized his mistakes and revived Konoha villagers.
Naruto – Had a very tragic past and suffered a lot when he was young. Tried to help Sasuke from going after Itachi. Tried to take the punishment for Sasuke’s actions at the ‘Five Kage Summit’. He earned the trust and support of everyone through his actions.
Sasuke – The only survivor of Uchiha massacre, yearned for power to get revenge on Itachi. Doing his best to restore his clan honour. Co-operating with the Alliance to fight against Madara to stop Infinite Tsukuyomi.
Danzo – Fought alongside Hiruzen and missed his shot of becoming Hokage because he was not ready to sacrifice himself to save others. Worked in the ‘Root’ taking measures to clean the mess which the Elders are unable to do so. Although his actions are different, he wanted peace to the shinobi system.
Madara – Wanted to put an ending to the war from his childhood. Started a co-operation with Hashirama to establish Konoha. Saw that the future of Uchiha clan is not stable within the village started to achieve peace through his own ideals (Infinite Tsukuyomi).
Itachi – Had to wipe out his own clan including his parents to stop the coup de-tat & became a S-Rank criminal. Worked under Akatsuki and played a major role protecting Sasuke till the end.
Orochimaru – Lost his parent when he was young. Experimented to become immortal to learn all the jutsus in the world (his reason to achieve immortality is still not convincible to me). Started helping Sasuke towards his ideals in the 4th Shinobi war.
Kakashi - Kakashi is one of the most rounded character. He has his dark past, yet can still make jokes and play around. He feels guilt for those he lost, but he tries to teach his students how to deal with their grief and guilt.
Kisame – He is one of the few true ninja in Narutoverse, killed his own comrades to protect the intel. He obeyed his orders in the Akatsuki and still died to accomplish his mission.
Kabuto – Had no idea about his parents and lost his identity by becoming a spy. Helped Orochimaru in all his experiments and kept working towards achieving ‘Dragon Sage Mode. Also played a major part in the 4th Shinobi war, but got defeated by the Uchiha Brothers. Realized his mistakes and path he should take and started helping Sasuke.
