Personality:Where his brother Ragna is hot-tempered and quick to draw first blood, Jin is cold, aloof, and borderline sociopathic. He cares little for the feelings of others, and denounces, in his own words, trivialities like camaraderie, believing that such things are lies that people use to their advantage. He has no compunction with killing anyone who gets in the way of his goal. In addition, he repeatedly shows that he dislikes reminiscing about the past.
This, however, is all a façade. The moment he reunites with Ragna, Jin loses his calm, detached demeanor and reverts to his childhood self. His voice becomes noticeably more ecstatic, and he is now prone to fits of maniacal laughter. In the past, Jin would often cling to Ragna for assistance with everything, which greatly annoyed him and was jealous of Saya when Ragna spent more time with her. However, it is shown during the first time loop that Jin loved his sister Saya as much as he did Ragna.
Though this was unusual for Jin, he holds a genuine soft spot for Tsubaki, who was his only childhood friend after he was whisked away from his old life.

History:
Jin grew up in the Village Hidden in The Mist, Kirigakure. Considering that his foster parents weren't really home a lot with him, his big brother and little sister, they had to spend several hours together. Though Jin was sicken at the thought of it. When Jin was a little boy, he was very dependent on his older brother, Ragna, for affection and constantly pestered him to play with him. He saw his sister Saya as an obstacle of getting his brother's attention and constantly bullied her in retaliation. Eventually, Ragna decided to look after the sickly Saya and distanced himself from Jin, thus increasing his jealousy. When Jin was originally planning to kill her, he was then visited by his sister and being given a sword named Yukianesa. After his sister (whom he hated) had given him a sword she had for some unknown reason, he took his leave from his home, but right as he was about to leave the village he ran into his friend, Tsubaki. They only spoke for a moment but Tsubaki knew something strange was going on because Jin kept telling her to head home because it's getting late. She finally headed home even though she knew the direction he was heading wasn't the direction to his house. He had left Kirigakure and never looked back. He left while he was in the mere age of eight.
Being busy trying to survive with his new rogue ninja life style, Jin was now seventeen and looking for his brother to fight him for entertainment. Fighting his brother, Ragna, it gave him a maniac laughter along with a snake like grin. That was the only time Jin seemed crazy. While on his journey of being a rogue ninja he traveled a lot of places searching for Intel on the whereabouts of his brother. Last he heard is that Ragna had left the village a couple of years after his little brother, Jin, had did a while back. At the back of Jin's mind he wondered if Ragna had left their little sister Saya at the village with their foster parents or if she was traveling with him. Either way, Jin was in search for a few unknown things besides destroying his big brother.
