What stopped nagato from switching to ems?

When someone has the rinnegan it gives the Body Powers.
When someone has EMS It gives the Body Power.
So Basicly,The eye is Not mastered by Nagato Nor Obito.
It just Gave their bodies powers.

He had no knowledge that his eye was originally a Sharingan, so why would he try/know how to change it?

I doubt that he would even be able to, since the eyes weren't his in the first place.

I doubt he could revert it back to EMS. Especially since he didn't even know it evolved from the EMS to begin with.


Same thing could be said about Susanoo if it could still be used with the Rinnegan. Obito only taught him the Rinnegan power nothing more.

Then again, perhaps Madara was able to use Susanoo with the Rinnegan because eyes aren't required to use it after you've awaked it which would mean Nagato still wouldn't able to use it no matter what.

You probably can't do that naturally. Rinnegan doesn't deactivate.

Madara did it in his Edo Tensei for because his body was greatly modified. If he could do that normally why not activate it with Obito/Kakashi's Sharingan?

Kakashi got his eye at sharingan, and awakened Mangekyou because it was Obito's eye and they both activated because they shared a connection. But he never reverted back because he couldn't, if he could, don't you think he would have so that he wouldn't have to keep his eye covered and to reserve chakra?


Same can go for Nagato, Rinnigan was implanted into him at some point, so he cant just turn it off because it was implanted as Rinnigan. Also, Nagato dosent have the uchiha brain to have special signals to activate sharingan, so its impossible for him to have it.
