[Discussion] uzumaki naruto or namikaze naruto???

why does everyone consider naruto part of the uzumaki clan while his father minato belongs to the namikaze clan

any ideas??

The fact that Naruto is the 4ths son would put him in danger, and thus the 3rd decided to keep it a secret. I mean, wouldn't it be a bit too obvious if he were to be named Namikaze, and resemble his father that much... then have people claim they aren't related?
