I can have a weaker and slower throw than other people, but if my timing is superb then that becomes irrelevant, especially if it's to do with something involving targets - I could have the weakest and slowest throw in a group yet I'm the only one that hits the target. Accuracy is something genin already have, they learn to throw kunai from young age, accuracy shouldn't even be mentioned - if lee didn't have throwing accuracy then he really should give up being a ninja.
Nice timing just meant that Lee could have either thrown that kunai too early or too late. But Lee timed it perfectly, nothing more to it, you are overthinking it way too much.
You still have to take into account what credited this accuracy. Speed comes into when realizing the perfect time in tossing the kunia, as the slightest misstep could throw it off. Being that one has to TOSS a kunia, the speed and strength here is important. Minato lacks strength and hand speed in comparison to a Gated Lee.
