And here we go again. Stop intentionally see things that aren't there.
It's almost humiliating how fast people jump on the whole "OP/FT is copying FT/OP" bandwagon. Outside one person no one in this thread actually sees that the FT color page is an adaptation of Snow White, it's even written at the top of the page, and that the OP panel resembles Gulliver's Travels.

Oh come on its Fairy Tail... its in the name... Hiro can have any FOLK LORE or "Fairy Tail" as a colored page. Fairy Tail... can even take little bits and pieces of other mangas and use them as "Easter Eggs" within there stories to give other people some credit that inspired him. Fairy Tail is unique in that aspect, and it makes the story really interesting.
It was always my thought that many of the Fairy Tail pics such as the example provided were either done out of boredom or by fan request. Many of them are quite random and often have very little to do with the actual Manga. I wouldn't label anything as copying unless it was in the actual manga and happened frequently enough to be perceived as anything but coincidence. As always though, Caliburn with his Eagle eye and good sense has spoken the truth.
