Yeah but bounty doesn't mean anything and we the fans know that he's not a pet. Chopper is underrated but not as much as Brook is.

If I recall correctly, Shogun barely did anything. Even his strongest attack, the Radical Beam, doesn't need the Shogun. Even Baby 5 could damage the Shogun and she isn't all that strong, Nami and Usopp, the two weakest members, finished them off casually.

People underestimate her a ton for some reason.

If I recall correctly, Shogun barely did anything. Even his strongest attack, the Radical Beam, doesn't need the Shogun. Even Baby 5 could damage the Shogun and she isn't all that strong, Nami and Usopp, the two weakest members, finished them off casually.

Well from the top of my head, what I can remember is that the shogun gave baby 5 and buffalo a lot of trouble. Baby 5 commented and implied that the shogun was much more resilient than a pacifista because one of her attacks didn't have any effect on the shogun despite the fact that a pacifista would have taken damage from that very same attack.

Nami and usopp finished her and buffalo off because they were trying to run away from the scene. They weren't trying to fight nami and usopp head on because if they did, they would have had to deal with the other's as well which obviously would have not been the right choice at that moment.

Hmm... I think that's a very difficult question because, it seems to me the rest of the straw-hats have very different attributions going into their strenght like.

If we were making an RPG character chard out of them, Franky would be really high in strenght, but low in speed and agility.
While Brook is just.. The boss in speed and agility, probably beating even Sanji and Zoro when it comes to those two things, plus extra handy abilities that comes with the devil fruit. He is basically immune to most things that would kill an ordinary human being.
Robin would be on a almost zero on all those things, physical strenght, speed and agility, but have all her power points put into her special magic abilities.

So well, basically they are just a pretty well rounded trio together, who's stronger of them? ... dunno, depends on the opponent I suppose.
Of course the moment we are out on the ocean and there's water every-where, Franky wins.

That's why non-devil fruit users are actually essential to any crew in one piece, the devil fruit user needs that non user around to pick them out of certain kinds of trouble.

Brook defeated one of Doffy's executives , no other straw hat has done that so I will have to go with brook and I think there is a possibility that he can defeat sanji

Not because it isn't a thing, but because.. the point of the straw-hat crew and these individuals is that they each are specialists on their own field.

That whole theme of "I do what you can't do, and you do what I can't do." being a constant among the straw-hats.

Nope, Usopp can't just kick a sea-king up the head and be done with it, but then on the other hands Sanji can't just automaticly make a row-boat out of two barrels and some rope if needed, and Zoro wouldn't be able to find the stream they were supposed to cross in that row-boat in the first place.

Nope, Nami can't shoot lazer cannons out of her hands, but on the other hand Franky can't predict the weather and thus navigate through massive typhons.

Nope Chopper can't beat the big guns with his sheer willpower, but then again, try to hand Luffy a first aid set and see what he's going to do with that when one of his crew-mates gets injured.

And not only does this reflect in their practical abilities but in their fighting styles.. it's incredible difficult to rank them just because they are so varied and has such pronoucned strenghts and weaknessess each.

Which is a big credit to the manga! that indicates very smart writing!

Its simply due to the nature of the people reading. I agree each one is needed but all of them do fight. In essence there are only two people who are supposed to fight. The Swordsman And the sniper. But The way they are presented they all get in fights. So when people read and notice that they all fight regardless of profession they like to rank them in order of their own strenght.

To which I reply in most circumstances Usopp. Because at the distances of EL there is no one in the crew that could counter attack what so ever. Not even robin who can grow what she can see. Its outside of the range of haki predictions most likely pts so usopp's sniping ability with his certain kill from a distance makes him the 4th strongest. Plus his job is just to be a sniper.

All give you the fact that he loses. But thats cause he wants to appear brave. So he runs in when he should just stay back and fire from a distance.

Baby five periced the Shogun and his strongest attack is General cannon, its so strong it can be used out at sea.

If Usopp masters his Haki it will be him. But currently I'd say Franky, Monster Chopper, Brook , Robin ,are all pretty close together.

But when Jinbei joins he will of course be at least number 4 if not 3? Depending on what we see from Sanji in this current arc.
