It was never stated Rinnegan had immunity to visual genjutsu.

We have to go by the feats/hype the manga gave it, which is: all 5 elements, and all techniques Nagato and Madara used

Until my link is disproved it stands firm. But of course Tsukuyomi won't work on pain.

does not mean he's weak against itachi's genjutsu since he has much superior eyes. Itachi was helpless against Tayuya and here genjutsu, does that mean genjutsu is his weakness? Lol

Genjutsu isn't his weak point. Firstly, he can use the tactic Kabuto used where he substituted his vision with sensing that worked incredibly well, and secondly he can easily bypass the Susano'O without even harming it by using the dragons from Mazō. Amaterasu is sensed and repelled with Shinra Tensei (as any other physical attack) or possibly even absorbed, while he can use his birds to fly out of his range and capture him with the dragons.

Nagato wins med diff at best. Genjutsu can be countered with his eyes closed. He is a sensor so Amaterasu isn't a problem. He also has gedo mazo and other summons. He can fly through deva path or Asura path making him unreachable by itachi. On the other hand each time itachi uses one of his big techs, he will suffer strain from MS, making the fight easier for nagato as itachi's movements will become sluggish.
