Nah I doubt Shinji can inflict enough damage to properly finish off Kenpachi without getting killed himself - Kenpachi doesn't rely on his senses to fight as shown when he fought Tosen, and Shinji doesn't really use his ability effective enough to kill someone quickly as seen when he got owned by the female quincy.

Juushiro isn't really that suited against close combat fighters but he'd make an excellent opponent for that gun-quincy that shot Shunsui though.

I'd say from the 3 you listed only Shunsui could go toe-to-toe with Kenpachi.

You're right about Yamamoto though.

That's why both of them had to plan extensively ahead in order to defeat him and that was using his own power against him, which they both had to do.

No. He feared that if Zaraki was to ever rebel against soul society that no one would be able to stop him. That does not mean no one can beat him as evident with Yamamotos Bankai, one slash and Kenpachi no longer exists.

No he said together their power is unmatched by anybody witch I also find that hard to believe...an he could have not been including kenpachi in that statement cuz he does not even know kenpachi true power.

Ok first of all, Shunsui and Ukitake joined the academy. Unohana and etc were already captains by then. Ukitake and Shunsui were the strongest in the academy and from the people after them.

Unohana was there long before Yamamoto became strong. lol.
