But he praised hashirama often since he considered him to be equal or stronger. he unknowingly gave sasuke and itachi praise saying theyre capable shinobi for stopping edo tensi. he gave huge praise to gai on his taijutsu. and gave praise to naruto and sasuke saying they arent just mere kids and hes going to have to focus and try. and madara actually trying in a fight is all the praise you need from a badass like him haha
