Given Oro's arrogance he would most probably makes an eye contact hoping that a mare sharingan can't do anything against him which would result in his downfall but we should consider the fact that Sasuke is not Itachi to go for genjutsu right after making an eye contact.If Sasuke casts genjutsu on Oro then Sasuke most likely wins this.

Sneak attack? No no no, in the Manga they were face-to-face, there was no "sneak attack". With that being said, Orochimaru displayed resistance to his genjutsu. Hence, binding genjutsu is suppose to prevent movement completely! Orochimaru not only moved but made an attempt to release the cast.

Agreed, this is a point that is often ignored or forgotten.
Think back to the anime, Oro seemed more fascinated by the whole process than worried.

Also, Sasuke implied that Oro was weak when he defeated him and with full strength, there is certainly a thought that the fight could have ended differently.

they're are no differences in 3 tomoe genjutsu fact. all used the same not when all those spikes are poking through him and it will slow oro down regarless for sasuke to end him with the killing blow also sasuke could just controll him like he does manda
