If we are talking about the opinion of someone teaching me something then of course I care. but in this situation we are talking about public opinion as a means of what people see think of you/others/manga.

If every single person on these forums started flaming and mocking every single post you made(They all hate you), you'd eventually leave the forum or change your ways. When I clearly stated I wasn't continuing the discussion, meaning I'm not changing my mind, nor debating you on that thread further? The simple answer is, you do care for public opinion. You wanted to make sure the public knew you didn't give up on your opinion.(either that, or you were trying to bait me, which I suspect)

I did prove myself right lol. But a debate doesn't end when someone makes a clear argument that can't be refuted logically. Some people just don't quit on their beliefs. It's more accurate to say that it was the straw that broke the camel's back. The stupid opinion that Sage Mode Naruto's not that strong has been going on for a while now. That thread teared it!

I am saying public opinion doesn't influence my own opinion towards said subject, and don't necessarily care what people think of me. However, in your scenario it is a massive public opinion, we are talking thousands of people. If I made a thread and a hundred people disagreed, I wouldn't necessarily care. However, if for every post I made I received 500 neg reps, then there's obviously something wrong with me and it would be recommend for me to accept criticism to improve my self, as the problem would lie within myself. Me not having any of those problems would mean I don't have to care for public opinion. Although... If it's the opinion of that girl in your sig imma just say I care xd.

Suspect what you will, I wouldn't feel good about myself leaving a debate just because someone told me I was wrong. I would rather make an argument and see how mine stacks up to his. Testing your ability to make an argument is a good way to improve. Anyways, debating is fun either way, even if NB set a rule for you not to reply to me and a rule for no one to read it, I would likely still post it for the sake of my enjoyment when I feel like killing time.

You act as if that's anything to be ashamed of. Sage Mode Naruto's still capable of reacting to or matching a good portion of Mid Tier fighters (Akatsuki, Kages).

OT: Nice thread, a bit of it seems over the top. But yeah. All in all, Sage Mode Naruto is a bit of a power house. Especially him in the Juubi Revival Arc.
