Yes, Sasuke fans say it is Sasuke's time to shine quite often, then next chapter he gets humiliated.

I've lost track of the amount of times I have heard "its Sasuke's time to shine," and it doesn't happen.

They said he soloed the Juubi and it was his time to shine, next chapter the Juubi just throws that burned parts away.

When the God Tree first showed up they said Sasuke would take over because Naruto was too drained and weak to do anything, then we see Naruto jump up back to the fight.
