Actually Incest here in America is not as high as it is in Germany and other Countries. Also Hinata and Neji being married would cause a huge problem.

1: Constantly being turned down by someone with an attitude problem. (Tsunade for J-man, Sakura for Naruto)

2: Unable (thus far) to save his childhood friend from becoming evil. (Sasuke for Naruto, Orochimaru for J-Man)

3: J-man's lost his sensei (the 3rd Hokage) at the hands of another one of the 3rd's students (Orochimaru). And Naruto lost his sensei (J-Man) at the hands of another one of J-man's students (Pain).

Seems to me that the story is just repeating itself.
