Tell me everything you know about Wind Release.
"Fuuton is one of the five elements, it's also known as the rarest. By kneading chakra inside you, and exhaling in a large outtake of breath, you can utilize a range of jutsu provided by the latter. The wind can also be used in cutting techniques, seen by Temari, she's able to cut down a wide range of trees in one go [ ] Wind is also superior to lightning, but supports fire, along with water. The known users are, Orochimaru, Naruto, Danzo, (Most of Sunagakure), Asuma, Kazuzu, etc. Danzo, arguably being the best wind user, using his summoning Baku's suction to cut through Sasuke's Susano'o.
But it doesn't stop there, Orochimaru during the Konoha Chunnin Exams was able to form a hand seal, to generate a large gust of wind, able to destroy a small part of the forest."

Michonne takes the paper, and grasps it. She constantly repeats, the word wind, within her head, and channels as much chakra possible. After the paper splits in half, she rises to her feet, "Hell yeah!" she yells. She then, calms down, hiding her excitement, and goes into a meditating position. "One with the wind," her eyes close as she channels chakra throughout her body.

Strong Points:

The strong point of this jutsu would be it's ability to come from any part of the body, which could take the enemy by surprise. It can also come in handy, when your enemy makes various clones to come at you from all sides. You can twirl, then finish block any Kunai/attacks coming your way. Also, it can be created in short blunt blasts, which could be useful in semi-taijutsu session, where you can bounce the enemy back then lay a fixed amount of hits. The chakra usage also, isn't that demanding.

Weak points:

The jutsu itself can't extend long distances, let's say you're trying to gain your distance for some long-range attacks. You most certainly couldn't depend on the jutsu to get you there. The attacks themselves are basic, no complexity, easy to figure out. It could be countered easily if not used at exactly the correct time.

Combinations-Strategies:

Since it's Fuuton, it can be used to propel Kunai, and shurikens. I could throw a Kunai at my opponent, and use this jutsu to propel it at even faster speeds then before, then I could come to the side, with a different attack, closing in any openings my enemy has to escape. Also, against impending attacks, I could deflect them with a small burst of wind, sending them in the other direction.

Ways to Counter:

Since the opponent would be using basic wind blasts, I could have a clone waiting on the sidelines ready to attack once the jutsu is used, ganging up on the enemy. Smoke bombs could also assist, causing a distraction/diversion, I could simply ninja tools in all directions, forcing them to dodge, I would then land a blow myself.


Michonne looks at her Sensei's clone, she dashes to the right-side of the grassland, and effectively jumps over the river. She throws a giant shuriken at the clone, to propel it at higher speeds, she uses a basic wind-technique, by extending her index finger in the direction of the Shuriken. Once she thinks it hit, she rises in a confident stance.

Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes.

Use your chakra to create a gust of wind to layer the area with sand and dust so it temporarily blinds my clone. Then do it again around the trees so that when my clone tries to jump through the trees so that he looses his footing and falls off.

Strong Points:

This jutsu could be used as a get away diversion. By picking up dust and sand from the terrain, the user could quickly escape while their enemy is blinded temporarily. If you're not trying to escape, it also can help create distance. Manipulating the wind, you can use your surroundings to blind the enemy, while simultaneously causing them to lose their footing. By then, you're capable of going in for the strike.

Weak Points:


It's considered a defense Jutsu, but doesn't really offer legitimate defense. It's more of a diversion technique, which essentially does what a smoke-bomb can do, but uses your chakra up in the process. If the opponent manages to bypass this, you're leaving yourself open for fire.

Combination-Strategies:

Since it lodges sand, and dust particles in the opponents eyes, it's wise to throw attacks at the enemy before using it. While they're being thrown, you can use Fūton Kihon Jutsu to propel your attacks, then using this technique itself. This gives you a fast, quick, attack, while blinding the opponent and making them unable to regain their footing. Perfect for a quick scheme to land some blows.

Ways to counter:

Stay out of your opponent's range so the jutsu won't be as effective, constantly pressure them with various attacks so they stay on edge. If you do happen to get caught, you can always use Fūton Kihon Jutsu to disperse it.




Michonne forms a clone, she sends one to the trees, and the original dashes for Sensei's doppelganger. She weaves through handseals and creates a gust of wind. She then punches the clone near the trees, but before it could land, she repeats the earlier jutsu."Heh, how was that?" She grins stupidly.

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

Use your chakra to create a wall of wind and use your chakra to have that wall of wind start spinning so that when my clone throws kunais at you the wind will turn it back around at my clone.

Strong Points:

The ability to push back impending attacks can be useful, if a Kunai or such is coming your way, you could deflect and come up with a substantial counter attack. If used in CQC, you can successfully block attacks from your opponent ultimately hitting them aswell, so you're dealing damage, while simultaneously blocking.

Weak Points:

If an explosive tag is thrown, while you attempt to block it, the tag'll activate, damaging yourself and wasting chakra. Also, even though it can be convenient at times, it does nothing Fūton Kihon Jutsu can't do, it can be handy in some situations, but isn't ideal. I would consider it a last resort

Combination-Strategies:

To protect it's weaknesses, you can use the Futon Kihon Jutsu to propel explosive away, and block other attacks in CQC. After that, you'll be able to to use the technique to send your opponent back, throw an explosive tag yourself to finish the deal.

Ways to Counter:

Since it's weak against explosives, you can simply use a clone to run up on them, engaging in CQC, then activate an explosive tag, hurting them and simultaneously creating a diversion. Once this occurs, you can simply run up on them yourself and deliver the finishing blow.




As Blake's clone throws three kunai, Michonne jumps back, and weaves through various handseals, erupting an average-sized wall of concentrated wind chakra to deflect the kunai. After the impending kunai are successfully blocked, she rises up and smiles, "Not to shabby, eh?"

Note: The user must already be airborne to use

Go to the mountain and jump off then use your wind chakra to release a high speed stream of air from your mouth and change your direction mid air so you land safely.

Strong Points:

This jutsu allows the user to propel themselves in any given area, once already airborne. It's effective when dodging techniques in mid-air, and can prove handy in very sticky situations. Like when you're jumping at an opponent who throws Kunai at you. You can just blow yourself away from the danger, and formulate a counter attack. This technique also can create a dust cloud concealing your presence, therefore it'll be a little more difficult to detect you.

Weak Points:

Sadly, you're only able to use this jutsu while airborne, therefore that's basically it's only use. Against opponents who specialize in speed, I highly doubt this technique'll be of much use, considering they'll be able to to counter effectively. Also, they can use (Fūton: Fūsajin no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Dust Wind Technique to disperse the dust cloud, revealing your location

Combination-Strategies:


Covering up it's airborne weakness, the user can compliment it by using an array of offensive Fuuton jutsu, like Fūton Kihon Jutsu (considering you can release the blasts through various body parts) to deflect any jutsu coming your way. Also, you can speed up your movement by sending backward blasts (protruding from your feet).

Ways to Counter:

Countering the dust cloud, as I stated above, you can simply use Fūton Kihon, to blast back any dust, concealing the user's presence. Regarding to the actual movement, if you can anticipate their desired location, kunai with explosive tags should be able to prevent them from continuing the their route. Afterwards, you can counter in CQC



Dashing for the mountain, Michonne is determined to perfect this jutsu. As she reaches the summit, she gazes down at the valley, "Nice view..." afterwards, she turns backwards and jumps. Free-falling, she performs various handseals, and blows a high-concentrated stream of wind out of her mouth. She blows to the right, effectively speeding towards Blake, releasing the jutsu at the last second, she tumbles towards the latter. Coming to a halt at his feet, she dusts herself of and rises. "How did I do this time..?"

Yep, CQC and Taijutsu are interesting ways of fighting, was always my preference during part one. u_u


Strong Points:

Complimented with Fūton: Kaze Ogawa, the user is able to essentially fly, then block all opponents trying to advance or attack them. The rocks that're being lifted can also help you save chakra, since you'd be using them as a shield. Also, lifting your opponent in the air help you formulate a plan, or attack while they're distracted. Not only can it be a form of defense, but the rocks also work as a type of offense. By utilizing the stream of wind, you're able to move the rocks to smash into your opponent, then you can advance on them yourself.

Weak Points:

Sadly, this is only short to mid range, therefore your adversary can detect your intentions, and fall back temporarily until the jutsu is no longer in effect. Also, the rocks aren't a sure hit. Sure, they can be distracting, but you'd want to do additional damage to your opponent, not take a chance to hit them when they're expecting it. Then you have Shinobi and Kunoichi who're faster than yourself. Using Fūton: Kaze Ogawa themselves, they can glide and direct themselves through the rocks, make their way to you, and attack. You just wasted chakra, and took damage, bad move on your part.

Combination-Strategies:

Like I stated earlier, the use can utilize Fūton: Kaze Ogawa while going with the wind currents to compliment their speed. It helps while advancing the enemy to get a clean strike. You might also be able to attach explosive tags to each of the rocks, so that when they approach the opponent, they'll not only cause a thick smoke, but they'll damage them aswell, giving you time to attack with Fūton Kihon.

Ways to Counter:


Considering it's a Fuuton technique, I could erupt a Doton wall to block the stream itself, therefore the latter won't be able to bring me into the air. Otherwise, if brought in the air, I could use Fūton: Kaze Ogawa to use the currents to my advantage. Already in air is a bonus, adding on the wind speeds of the stream is another bonus.



After recovering from her earlier falling, Michonne stands tall and firm. Performing the needed handseals for the technique, Michonne forms a large hue of steam in the direction of her Sensei's clone. Picking up rocks along the way, it advances at extreme speeds. While her Sensei is in the air, she extends her left arm and holds out two fingers. Doing so, she protruded two other streams of wind, hitting the rocks, she directed them to close in on the clone from multiple directions. After all this, the rocks plummet back on the ground with a large thump, and she turns to the original, "How about that, huh?" she cheesily smiles. Afterwards she cringes at her awkwardness.

This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Clap your hands together and create a powerful gale of wind to release from your body blowing away my clone from hitting you. Then do it again but throw a kunai then use it again so that the kunai's speed and power increase and hit my clone.

Strong Points:

Has the ability to easily knock over the opponent if used correctly, can be used to strengthen the attacks and speed of Ninja Tools, (Kunai, Shuriken, Katanas).

Weak Points:

If the Opponent can go back far enough, they'll remain unaffected. As seeing it only goes a short range. Also, against Katon attacks, it's arguable if it'll only make the technique stronger, AND send it to your direction.

Combination-Strategies:

Only use this technique when you're fairly close to your opponent, so you can be sure to hit. Also, you can compliment it by throwing multiple large shurikens and kunai to further distract/hit your enemy. Then you can use a Katon jutsu, as seeing not only would it become stronger from the gale, but it's speed might fairly increase also.

Ways to Counter:

You should effectively gain your distance from the enemy once their hands are clasped. If failed, you may also erupt a Doton wall to protect you from the winds and incoming weapons.




As Michonne sees the clone running towards her, she makes a couple handseals then hastily clasps her hands. A huge gale of wind blows Blake's clone a few meters back. Then not wanting to run up on it, and be taken by surprised, Michonne repeats her earlier actions, but this time she throws five kunai into the air. After hitting the clone effectively over three times, she turns to the original and awaits her next order, "Done"

Take out any bladed weapon and infuse it with wind chakra and manipulate it so the blades start spinning and throw them at my clone so they hit her.
