[Question] How would Luffy fight if he never ate the Gomu Gomu Fruit?

He would fight the same way he's fighting now...being a brawler...what people need to realize is the Rubber DF only applifies what Luffy already has in terms of speed an strength. But I see Luffy as a mini garp without a DF

I know but his fruit is what mostly powers him, now after the time skip he has his haki and stuff... but how would he of won vs Lucci without his fruit? and would he be able to use gears? since his body would be normal, I don't think he would be able too.
