I don't like Sasuke and I don't like like Naruto even more so I can talk without bias here. For starters, Sharingan, Bijuu etc are not "borrowed powers". They are a part of each character like their skin and bones. Where their power derives from doesn't matter. Who is stronger also doesn't matter. But for the sake of argument I'll indulge the OP.

My opinion is that Sasuke and Naruto are equals. Naruto has charisma that causes people (and...monsters) to gravitate towards him. His mastery of ninjutsu, starting from literally the bottom, was a long but successful process. Whereas Sasuke is a born genius who understands ninjutsu on a more fundamental level. The similarity to the two is the end product, not the journey. How they attained their power is irrelevant, they both have reached a similar level. The lesson here is whether you are a born genius, or a moron you can still achieve the same thing. Therefore, they are equals.

That is invalid. Sasuke's Susano'o was as strong as Naruto Kyuubi Mode. Sasuke only needed the Senjutsu to be able to attack Juubito.
